Forbidden Desert - How to play and Play through

Glad I found this. Even though I just recently bought the game and managed to locate your play through demo in the year 2020, it was very well done and helps me a lot to hurry and get playing. Reading the instructions was not too bad. However, in conjunction with what you have here, it makes it easier to start playing this game sooner!

Really good play through my family have been trying to figure this game out for awhile but what happens if the two part cards with the arrows point to the storm eye

You always move the tiles in the direction of the arrow. So if the eye , for example, is on the very upper edge of the board and the arrow is pointing up, you would shift the tiles up and the eye of the storm would end up in the center of the board. Hope this helps!

Gaming On Board thanks for answering quickly sorry I didn’t explain well but the cards that designate where the ship part goes if the two cards point to the row and column where the storm eye is do you put the part on the storm eye or wait until there’s a card in place of it

Okay I see what youmean, you put the part on the Storm eye and it stays on that spot just like any other part.

What if during your shuffle the crash site is in the place that one of the sand tiles go? Is that eligible?

Yes, the sand tile would still be placed, but you won't be able to access it until you remove all sand tiles.

Thank you. For clarity, I meant at the start of the game. Also, what if 2 east/west direction cards are next to each other? Where would the gear piece go?

If the East-West and north-south are next to each other, the missing piece will be on the north-south tile. If the crash site starts with sand onnit you will just have to dig your way out first. :)
