I lived out of my honda civic and the one item that changed the game was a 1 gal pump weed sprayer. I could shower with 1 gallon of water and also wash my hands without dumping out tons of water. It puts out a misty stream that actually conserves alot of water.

That sounds like a good idea - doubly so if 18 hours without bathing, especially if exertion is involved, has you feeling like you have bugs crawling on your skin.

I rode across the USA, smoking and riding go together so well. Every 30 miles i'd stop and smoke a bowl, before I knew it I had 60 to 80 miles banged out! Wide open country, riding your bike, and a little buzz from a bowl is pure happiness!

Nice! Fabric softener, a bear burrito stretched between some trees, plenty of green breaks, and some hot hands! Sounds like my kind of trips!! A fun trick to share is old hand warmers can be left in the bottom of the sleeping bag to absorb moisture.

Been thinking of saving for one of them flat bottom hammock, it's good to be off the ground where I am. Bears will still get ya though. I'm just not sure if I can sleep in a traditional hammock, after a few drinks for a few hours maybe.

The potatoes need moisture like a cold water bath the entire time to avoid becoming dark like that. Idk how you'd do that on the road though.

Nice to get out of the heat of phoenix. Flagstaff area is quite beautiful, bet it has some awesome forest service roads to tour and camp on. How did the solar panel adjustment work out? Does the trailer handle better?
@Eric_Tennant6 ай бұрын
Haven't tested the upgrade yet. I was going to take it on this trip however I found out after repacking my car 3 times that the 200w solar trailer lid does not fit in it. I'm working with Allpowers to try an build a 100w trailer version for when I'm using my car.

@@Eric_Tennant I wonder if I could hook one of these solar systems to a Bosch unit. I have 2 batteries, but plan on taking my rig down into South America, and it would be nice to have some trickle charging. I train to ride with no assistance as much as possible.

The “advantage” of a drywall hammer is it can also be used - to some degree - as a “hammer”, e.g. for tent stakes, a nail or three, ice-pounder for liquid refreshment, etc. I do not *routinely* expect to do campfires, but it’s better to have and not need than the reverse.

Bike is a Trek kzbin.info/www/bejne/fISYmpuVm8moZ7c 1000w Bafang Motor kzbin.info/www/bejne/rHXCaIZ-op5qibs I have 2 20ah @ 48v amzn.to/3yMKx0j . I also have an older 15ah but it not sold anymore. Then the solar trailer kzbin.info/www/bejne/faOQaXVurtl-e9U My 1st solar tour I didn't do it right and was charging them using the discharge port. This is bad because the B.M.S. has no way to stop it from charging when one cell hits over 4.2v. To correct this mistake I upgraded the batteries to what I would like to call solar batteries. This is how kzbin.info/www/bejne/qIm7ZXmEq75pns0 . This makes them so they have a common charge and discharge. Then to connect them in parallel all batteries need to be within +/-0.03 volts of each other. At this point charging and discharging will naturally balance even if one battery is only 15a. I may need to make a video one this.

Hi Eric. David from clearwater florida. Question. Is it possible to use a 175watt flexible solar 12volt panel to charge a 36volt electric motor minn Kota kayak? I already own the 175watt 12volt flexible solar panel. I would love to do the same thing you have done except on the water in Tampa bay. Salt water. A floating solar panel towed behind the kayak. Our sunshine here and a 175watt panel would be nice. Can you convert 175watt 12volt to 36volts? What are your thoughts?
@Eric_Tennant6 ай бұрын
100% doable. All you need is one of these amzn.to/3KzHb3h

@@Eric_Tennant a floating panel would be tough
@Eric_Tennant6 ай бұрын
@@DavidAbreu7777 Wouldn't take much to float a flexible panel. Could fix 6 2 liter bottles to the bottom side of them. Solar doesn't mind water if anything it makes them work better, and DC shorts only break H20 apart. PVC pipes could also be used. If anything for the framing of them, as 2020 aluminum like on my solar trailer lid has a bit of weight.
