Jungle Sporecap "These creatures appear to be close relatives of the puffstool. They can act quite aggressive at first, but become cowardly when threatened. Unlike most large creatures, the jungle sporecap's reproduction relies on it infecting another creature. The jungle sporecap does this by releasing its spores onto nearby plants and occasionally animals. One of its main targets is Pikmin. If a Pikmin comes into contact with the spores, they will be transformed into a "sporling". Sporlings will try to dig into the ground, eventually maturing into a jungle sporecap, thus continuing its life cycle. I have yet to find a cure to the jungle sporecap's fungal infection, unfortunately the locals don't seem to have anything to say either... Perhaps I could try putting an infected Pikmin into a candypop bud, but I would only do that if we encounter another infected Pikmin."
