The Bible is probably the most translated book ever- and every time it is translated, things get misunderstood or missed altogether. Books get removed according to who's version it is. Generally done because of control issues. Has been done since the very beginning. From Greek to Latin to Hebrew or any other language, the Ethiopian Bible is the most complete of ALL the various and multi altered collections of books now called the Bible. It's truly a fascinating story!! !

I know the book of sirach is in the Apocrypha 📚 not sure about the wisdom of sirach, most of this sounds like a regurgitation from the book proverbs and the wisdom of Solomon. That's what most of the New testament and apocryphal books seem to get their scripture from. The older books from the Torah as well as the Dead Sea scrolls

Sirach and the wisdom of Sirac same thing. It is part of the Septuagint which has been around way before the New Testament. It is true, more than you realize, that the New Testament is based on the Old Testament, for Jesus said he came to fulfill the Old Testament, and now we have the New Testament which can be described as light shown on the Old Testament bringing out the spirit and truth.

I found Sirach’s teachings on friendship incredibly insightful, especially about testing friends before fully trusting them. But it makes me wonder-are we sometimes too quick to trust or rely on friends today? How do we balance being open with protecting ourselves from betrayal? Can we ever really “test” friends without damaging the relationship? I think Sirach’s words offer wisdom, but applying them in real life can be challenging. What do you think?

They removed the 22 books as they were translating from the Ancient Hebrew to English Bible.. In other words the English banned it in their version not allowing their followers to know of the information that was written in the beginning.. Have you ever heard or read the content and comprehension of these removed books in the Bible you read ? That means it was banished from the book that they made available to you
