Pilgrimage to sites associated with the life and ministry of Jesus has been a significant aspect of Christian faith since the earliest centuries AD. Group tours to the 'Holy Land' are still very much part of the culture of practising Christians but are primarily organised by Israeli travel agents.
This film hears passionate views from Palestinian priests, a Christian tour operator and a British writer as they speak out against the obstacles facing pilgrims visiting sacred sites today, particularly Bethlehem and Nazareth. It also covers the recent history of discrimination against Palestinian Christians generally - and the wider problems threatening their survival.

We have watched this documentary while coming to a finding that it is actually not only exploitation by Israelis of the occupied territories. It also shows another way of occupation we personally call biblical occupation not only against Islam but also against Christianity (and maybe against more religions) in Israel.

As a Muslim who recently went to Palestine and spoke to the local Palestinians there, you should know that our presence alone strengthens them and makes them feel like they haven't been forgotten by the rest of the world. It's really important that you go for your people and your faith. Please go. We don't truly understand the importance of spreading awareness and supporting the oppressed, until we actually go and see it in person. As sad as it is for me to say this, we actually get treated far better than the locals. You'll be safe and no one will harm you, but I can't say the same for the citizens😔. I yearn to go back to Palestine even though I just came back yesterday. Through my experience, I feel more connected to the cause and feel like I have a responsibility to spread awareness on the atrocities taking place there. Please don't believe what the western media tells you. It's nothing like how they describe it to be for tourists. Also places aren't getting bombed every day like how they tell you. By staying ignorant to the oppression you are indirectly strengthening the terrorist regime and allowing them to continue their oppression. Please go and see it for how it is. You'll come back a new person with a different perspective. Also when you do hopefully go, make sure you do your research on the tour guide/company you go with. A lot of them are employed by the Israeli government who will tell you a completely different narrative to the actual truth of the people and history of Palestine. This is a trap that most tourist fall under. Unfortunately, many tourists are brainwashed with lies and this supports the cause of the Zionists. Don't fall under the same trap. We must not forget about our people. Please go and see it for how it really is.

Catholic is the oldest order in Christianity. We do not worship false idols. You protestants and others believe you can a life of sin and just get into heaven. I am an eastern Christian, and I feel sorry for those Palestinian Christians who caught in between the devil and the deep sea. But I think it is better to stay with Israel rather than a having a fate of ending up like Christians of Iraq or Syria, all now wiped out.
