😡There are some innocent Palestinians. However, many were cheering in the streets after the kibbutz attacks. Many looted the homes of Israelis while their bodies were burning to death. While they stepped over slaughtered old women and beheaded babies. The majority of them voted to put Hamas into power. Gaza was gifts to the Palestinians in 2005/06. They took the thousands of homes left behind and burned them to the ground because Jews once lived in them. They murdered gays, they set people in fire intentionally. Both sides are imperfect , but the image of innocent and bad guys is totally inaccurate. Have you asked yourself WHY no Arab nation will take them in? Because the country that did the last time, LEBANON, regretted it! They caused a friggin civil war. By the way, to speak factual and biblical, there is no such thing as Palestinian.

I am an aging German man in his late 50ies. The Shoa and the Palestinian cause have overshadowed my life. Since October 7 I have lost dear friends over the debate who is right and who is wrong. Old friends where shown to doors of no return, tearing up, female familiy members breaking down in tears. I traveled back in time to the Sunday afternoon coffee table of my childhood, with my grandpa whom I feared so much, his face twisted in wrath, calling the Jews a Sauvolk (pig people in German), outrage followed, face loss, unforgivable things were said. It is not much that prevails. I feel reminded of the last two verses of the Dubliners' folk song The Old Man: And when you think of all the wasted lives, it makes you want to cry, I'm not sure how to change things, but by Christ, we have to try.

A 170-year-old stone Tulkarem church was torched before dawn and its interior destroyed, 17 September 2006. Two churches in the West Bank were set ablaze Rami Khader Ayyad was a Palestinian Christian activist kidnapped and killed in Gaza City on 7 October 2007. He was the manager of the only Christian bookstore in the Gaza Strip called The Teacher's Bookshop After the PA gained control of Bethlehem it redistricted the municipal boundaries of the city. Arafat’s motivation for the change was to ensure a Muslim majority in any elections to be held in the area. By doing so, he annexed an additional thirty thousand Muslims and a few thousand Muslim Bedouins in adjacent areas. This, combined with substantial Muslim immigration from the nearby city of Hebron, dramatically transformed the demographic reality. “Arafat also defied tradition by appointing a Muslim governor of the city. The Bethlehem City Council, which by Palestinian law must have a Christian majority, has been taken over by Muslims. Eight of the fifteen seats on the council are still reserved for Christians, but in the latest municipal elections of May 2005 a coalition with crucial support from Hamas emerged victorious. Hamas today holds six of the fifteen council seats and their Christian allies hold four.Arafat crowned his efforts when he converted the Greek Orthodox monastery next to the Church of Nativity into his official Bethlehem residence. Arafat an Egyptian flooding the country who persecuted Christian’s taking their jobs homes …who do Christian’s complain to living under Islamic oppressors 🙄🤔

Aside from jews living in palestine thousands years ago. In the 1880s they purchased land from land owners legally. They built homes and communities, your allowed to do that. They never colonized palestine which many Palestinians like to accuse them of. They were successful with the land farming, which brought in more people. Jews and Arabs alike.. And there was violence... by Arabs, against the Jews. (Look up the pogroms of 1920, which wiped out the community of Tel Hai. Or the pogroms of 1929, which ethnically cleansed the ancient Jewish community of Hebron.) It was in response to that violence that the Zionists established a militia called Haganah, meaning “defense”; there would later be others. And when the Zionists finally got international recognition, by 2/3 of the UN, and a state was declared. Guess what the Arab world did... handful of national army's and irregulars invaded Israel. Had the Arab world succeeded in its mission, of strangling the infant country at birth, there would have been no Israel, and few would have cared. But somehow Israel survived. And for most countries in the world, that would have been more than enough. Israel was built on land that had been purchased, and developed, and approved by ⅔ of the countries of the world, and then successfully defended in war. How many other countries have done all of that?… And then Israel had to fight for survival again in 1967, and again in 1973. So let's not forget actual history and not just peoples skewed point of views and opinions. I believe both should have there own state, but not at the expense of security of Israel surrounded by countries who have always wanted them and their country destroyed.

This tragedy is the creation of the west with the Balfour Declaration of 1917. The village of Ikrit is Palestinian Christian Catholic and the village of Bir’am is Palestinian Christian Maronites. They aren’t allowed to go back to their villages since 1948, though today they are citizens of Israel. Some of the Palestinian Christians predate Jesus in that land this is the outcome of an article I read published by an Israeli Jewish researcher. As the documentary says they refused to leave to neighboring Arab countries, so this makes them unique in the sense of being refugees in their own land. The original inhabitants today are scattered in villages and cities in Galilee. The first time I visited Bir’am was 6 years ago. It is nestled up in the mountains with majestic beauty of pine forest trees. The stones of old demolished home lay frozen in time between the pine trees and the church is still standing and used for service on Sunday. Though I know the history, the onset of the documentary ringing the church bells caused me goosebumps, as I myself used to ring the bells of our Christian church. Justice must be served by allowing these people to go back home after 75 years. The Jewish immigrants to Israel from Argentina, Poland, and New York have the right to build new settlements while these indigenous people have no right to go back home. The rest of the documentary about Bethlehem and Beit Sahoor is heart-breaking. An outstanding documentary.

Great documentary, as I do not know much about the modern history of Palestine. I have an old Bible with a map of ancient Palestine that span from the sea to the current border of Jordan and beautiful black and white drawings of life in ancient Palestine. Gaza and Byzantine Palestine was once the epicenter of Greek culture and Eastern Orthodox Christianity, a part of history I have always loved to study, incl. all the ancient churches on the world heritage sites in the area. After all, the first Christian communities originated from the followers of Jesus of Nazareth, Palestine and its Biblical connections with Christian Egypt, something no history revisionist can ever take away from the Palestinian people, I'm sure.

You have to be pretty experienced traveler to visit it on your own, but there are different travel companies that can organise your trip. I’m not Christian, but it was quite memorable to visit the Nativity Church where presumably Jesus was born. It was very safe. There are bunch of hotels and many very affordable AirBnBs in the center, just minutes away from the church. The only thing, it’s a little tricky to cross the checkpoint. Israel does not care if you’re a Christian or Muslim you’re an Arab and a threat to their demographic majority. Zionism, is predicated on the idea that they are somehow entitled to a land they haven’t lived in for at least 1600 years. not only that, but DNA studies show that Palestinians are majority descended from the ancient Canaanites, just like the Hebrews. Palestinians have very little Arab ad mixture, except for the Bedouins. In 1880 when the first Zionist migration happened Jews were less than 5% of the population. By 1917 that grew to 11%. By 1947 that grew to 33%. These people were brought in by the British to colonize the land against the will of the inhabitants of that territory. Then those colonists ethnically cleaned 50% of the total Palestine population - 80% of the Palestinians within the 1948 borders. Not to mention the over 15,000 Palestinians they killed in the process. If that isn’t racist if that is not injustice, then I don’t know what is. This is a film that I highly recommend be seen by all Americans who claim to be Christian; especially Evangelicals.

Wonderful documentary. Nobody hears about the Christians in Palestine . Could you also do a documentary about the christians that disappeared from other surrounding countries?

How about focusing on the indiscriminate killing of Palestinians in general that is happening right now?
@jessereichbach5889 ай бұрын
@@wc7zr What indiscriminate ? Do you know what that word means? How is anything Yiz is doing "indiscriminate"? If they were acting indiscriminately there would be 200-300k perished, not 30k. 10k of whom are almost certainly combatants. Right now legitimate estimates are Yiz ratio is 2 to 1, civ to com. Which is one of the lowest in all modern high density conflict..... try again sapling.

@@jessereichbach588you clearly are not aware of what’s really happening. There is in fact indiscriminate genocide occurring right now. I implore you to do some more research and see what kind of atrocities are being committed upon innocent civilians. I have no reason to make this up. This is a genocide in 2024.
@marinafazal85659 ай бұрын
@jessereichbach588 well without indiscriminate means that idf is killing Christians also not only Muslims. Bcz people think it is only Muslims they are killing . So bring down your head down from clouds where 30 thousands killing is not enough for you . I guess 300 thousand will be not enough for you also . You people just want Israel only for Jews .no muslim r Christian no one else.

Thank you for your valuable video on Palestine. If only Israel had not been founded, beautiful Palestine would be alive and well and the country would be more developed. It is not too late. Let's take back 76 years. I pray for peace and freedom in Palestine💖🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🕊🕊🌼🇯🇵

That was terribly. Can't believe that the Israeli have gotten away with displacing the Palestinian people. Specially, Israeli who's ancestors suffered the same plight.

Reading all the comments that sympathised with them because they are cristians without a word about the majority of palestinians who are muslims and endured the same thing is disturbing

This is to highlight that Palestinian Christians are also victims. Nobody talks about it. Most people think all Palestinians are muslims. Christians who support Israel need to know this and see Israel is not their friend either.

They are the God's chosen people 🙏 definitely 👍 All my love and God's Blessings to you all Palestinians ❤❤❤❤❤

You can believe in fairytale. Jews were there before the Christians and surely before the muslims. You cannot claim what is not yours and expect God to grant it to you after you slaughter innocent civilians.
