This video i make after returning from leh ladakh Road Trip 2022, Spiti Road Trip 2023, Many isolated places of Himachal and Uttarakhand. This video all about my experience about Force Gurkha BS-VI after doing all above places. i am sure this video will be very informative for you.
The First series of Gurkha variant was fitted with a 2.6-litre, intercooled Mercedes-Benz OM616 diesel engine, which comes with a displacement capacity of 2596cc.
The second series of Gurkha variant was fitted with a 2.6-litre, intercooled diesel engine, which comes with a displacement capacity of 2596cc. It was compliant with Bharat Stage III (BS3) emission standard and incorporated with a turbocharger. It enables the engine to churn out a maximum power of 80.4bhp at 3200rpm in combination with a peak torque output of 230Nm between 1800 to 2000rpm. It is integrated with four cylinders and sixteen valves using double overhead camshaft based valve configuration. This power plant is integrated with a direct injection fuel supply system that helps in delivering 15 Kmpl approximately on the highways and about 10.5 Kmpl in the city traffic conditions. This diesel motor is skillfully coupled with a five speed manual transmission gear box, which helps it in attaining a top speed in the range of 130 to 140 Km/h. At the same time, it can cross the speed barrier of 100 Kmph in close to 17 seconds from a standstill.The All New Force Gurkha with conveniently located 4x4 High and 4x4 Low levers in the central console makes it an unrivalled off-roading vehicle. It is the only vehicle in its class with mechanically actuated differential locks on both axles.
The third series of Gurkha is available in three different variants Xplorer, Xpedition and the Xtreme. Comes with a new BS-IV compliant engine in addition to a host of changes. The off-roader can be ordered in both soft-top and hardtop versions, while you get sturdy bits like a steel bumper with foglamps as well as a factory fitted snorkel intake for better water wading capabilities.
Force has launched the new-gen Gurkha and in October 2021. It will priced from Rs 12.99 lakh onwards (ex-showroom). It is mostly going to get a 90PS 2.6-litre diesel engine with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The cabin of the Force Gurkha has been revamped with an all-black theme with rear captain seats and jump seats in the boot. It will further feature LED headlamps with DRLs, power windows, dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, an aftermarket touchscreen infotainment system, tyre pressure monitoring, rear wiper, optional alloy wheels and rear parking sensors.

Looks like your machine is from first batch. Later Gurkhas have locking Clamps on stabiliser bars which help to avoid the holding arms from shifting. FM knows about it and you can get them installed on your next visit. Also check your front suspension Bump stoppers. FM is strengthening this by additionally welding these arms. Some Gurkhas reported bent Bumpstoppers while doing Off-roading. FM knows about it. New Gurkhas also have much lighter Steering. If your steering is hard, you can replace the steering column with power pump to make it much lighter. It costs about 22k. From time to time, you shud use WD40 spray on bushes to avoid noise issue. Also there are 7 grease points in Gurkha. Get them regularly greased, especially after mud off-roading. Good luck and enjoy every moment of your travel.👍

Summarising- Problem -1: Squeaking sound while shaking sideways. Solution: Greasing of shockers, changing of bushings. Problem -2: Vibration of 4x4 lever at low RPM. Solution: Tightening of mounting nut. You're quite persistent in problem solving.😊

@@SushilKPingua I have only nature and adventure channel only on you tube which is working. I made a channel named zero after unsuccessful jorney of nature and adventure channel. But later I realized that I have to fight and making another channel is not the solution. After that I stopped uploading videos on 'zero' channel. I am still fighting for success and growth in regarding to you tube. Many viewers said I deserve to have many many more views but I don't know why my luck is not working.

Might be the problem with heat sensor, also plz inspect radiator and if necessary do cleaning or if needed then replace it. I had also this type of problem in past.

Drove my Gurkha bs6 almost 40k Ye to kuch b problems nahi hai the one I faced even I do very minor off-road that is mostly dunes nothing major Problem 1- leakage in diesel filter while driving on road all my diesel tank got flushed out they changed it then again faced same problem after few days 😂 Problem 2- problem in left axel on the speed of 80 it made very hard sound and vibration so they changed the axel but the minor sound is still there and they said it will never stop Problem 3-bubbling in strearing at 80+ speed Even my tyres are of genuine size 265/70/16 apollo’s apetra at2 Problem 4- when start idle speed the gear makes sound like auto that is tak tak tak tak when I press the clutch it goes away … went to 3 different force workshop they said if you will change clutch plate it will wanish but only for 3-4K km then it will start again this is constant problem in Gurkha Problem 5- engine makes horrible sound sometimes and misses on constant speed if kept 60-80 and gives Ajeeb push Problem 6- now it heats up on long rides for 15-30 mins then again heat goes to normal I owned many off-road 4x4 vehicle that includes cj3b Mm550 Gypsy Thar di and crde both Xenon 2.2 4x4 But had worst experience with Gurkha I bought this vehicle for long rides and adventure But m always afraid that I might face new problem while on trip with family so now it’s just my local driving vehicle 😂😂😂😂 So as they say Na biike nal chale

Gurkha is a vehicle which can take you anywhere where any 4 wheels can reach but it is also very demanding vehicle. I can't understand why force motor didn't take it seriously. Some of there service engineers have knowledge not more than puncture repair boy. I don't know why it is. But this vehicle is extreme offroad vehicle. I haven't any other choice.
