This is part 1 of a video series using the force method to analyze a beam that is statically indeterminate to the second degree. This problem also demonstrates the double integration method and conjugate beam method to calculate deflections as part of the process. After solving for reactions, the internal shear and moment diagrams of the beam are drawn.

Part 2: Using the double integration method and conjugate beam method to calculate deflections for the primary loading and redundant loading 1. ( • Force Method "ultimate... )
Part 3: Calculating the deflections for redundant loading 2 using beam charts and solving for unknowns by setting up the matrix formulation with some discussion about the flexibility matrix. ( • Force Method "ultimate... )

Thank-you Structure Free for creating these awesome videos! I'm using them to hopefully pass a final with a very tough prof tomorrow. Keep up the good work. If possible, maybe even venture into material for the course after this one, such as the theory of elasticity in Cartesian polar coordinates and its application to curved beams.
