I just finished putting mine together. Already figured out how to utilize both weight stacks for lat pull downs and having knee support. Using lashing straps attached to the plate loader of the smith bar or even using a free weight barbell for the barbell holders. Strap them to the band pegs that are in the bottom front of each side This will act as the knee holder to hold you in place while doing lat pull downs. Use the functional trainer bar that has hook ups on each end. And presto over 200lbs of weight for lat pull downs. Force usa please make a foot plate for the g6 for rows. Maybe one that can utilize both weight stacks and connect to the band pegs on the bottom front . Engineer an attachment like ironmaster ultimate row handle that has attachment hook ups on each end and a hook up in the middle. That way both weight stacks can be utilized for rows. I seen on Instagram that you have it for the g12! The g6 is the bees knees!

@@StevieRichardsFitness then I think I should consider carefully where to position it before starting mount XD By my researches this seems to be the most complete station in terms of feautures and compact size. I mean the most complete one in the most smallest space, also with a very good price, much lower than those of other brands and with a premium quality however. This will be my final choice for sure, I've checked many products of other brands (if you want I can make a list), and inside Force America too, this is simply the best overall: feautures, price, dimensions and quality. Of course this for my situation, since I must stay in a certain space, that's my biggest limit, but nothing takes away that it's a top tier product in any case. I would to thank you for your good review, this has helped me to take my final decision. Just for be sure, could you tell me again the dimensions? if possible both with and without the smith barbell.

I made my own . Using trx straps connected to the top hook and the trx handles connected to the weight stacks. Also a launch pad ramp for it using the leg press attachment and a bowflex straight bar.

What are your thoughts on squat pads? They get a bad reputation but squatting always hurts my back and neck area (traps are pretty developed too)

It would of been nice if it’s 48 wide it’s to compress

I don’t understand the reason for 2:1 ratio. Why would anyone want only half the resistance they choose? That’s the deal breaker for this model.
@jayv2054 жыл бұрын
2 Reasons: The engeneers were not smart enough to figere out the way to route the cable for 1:1 while still keeping the handles movable up and down. The other reason: this way you get more cable travel.

I just received mine. Also came from a hoist v6 functional trainer which is also 2:1 and an Im2000. Honestly it's more than enough weight to do functional trainer exercises. The only exercises that probably need it are lat pull downs and rows. I've already figured out how to utilize both weight stacks for those exercises. And the above comment is right. The g12 is 1:1 but the distance of the pull is shorter. There are comments that state that. All my heavy exercises are done by freeweights anyway. There are many heavy exercises you don't want to use cables for because it's pulling from one direction which result in injury

M Navarro I’m glad you we’re able to get the newer version of the G6. After watching several videos I can see why you went with it. Nice job! In the future I will definitely have a something like this G6 to have the functional trainer combined in such a small space.
