I recreated your steps to learn a bit more about fixing pumping. I wanted to see if my coaster pumps (exact same coaster you designed with your measurements etc.) and it does not pump. Did FVD change something that pumping isn't a problem anymore?

There's no version of FVD where pumping isn't a "problem," per se. It's something you should consider when designing your rides no matter the method more-so than it's a problem. The undulating nature of pumping can be uncomfortable during intense portions of a ride, but might add more character to a slower section; try not to sit too comfortably in the box! ;) And trying to match my numbers here is kinda missing the point. You should be *feeling* the ride as you design it. There's no "pull this many g's over this many seconds with this much roll and you'll always get a wing-over that snaps just like batman" to be found here. Understanding *why* the numbers come out the way they do to make certain elements is much more powerful than knowing the numbers verbatim.

You can do it! Don't underestimate yourself. With some practice you'll be creating awesome rides in no time. Just be patient, and let yourself make mistakes. It took a pretty long time before I felt I was decent at this, so keep at it! ^.^

. So true. Great advice. It may look intimidating at first, but with a bit of fooling around, practice and a good introduction like you did, it will help a lot of track builders :) I also like the track view in fvd because you can ride the track in pov mode with the actual speed of the train. You get a pretty good impression of how the ride experience will flow :) Great tutorials, well done!

could you do a tutorial on more complex elements like the mosasaurus roll, the arieforce one and maxx force zero-g rolls, outerbanks, and most of the modern elements
