Second he wants him to quit his current job because knows he got that job only out of mercy and uncle Larry would cuddle him rather than treat as acutal employer would. So pretty much uncle Larry giving him a job out of mercy doesn't teach Jessie how to function in this world on his own anymore than before he got a job. I really like Jesse's dad! He needs to realize that his dad is "old school." I hate the whole psycho dad thing, to be honest Jess there are a ton of terrible fathers out there and your dad is far from that. You have some of the best points that you could add to that which are for. A real father would care for him by helping him with getting a job, buying him things when he does not have the money, and maybe... Just maybe, he should not break his happiness. A real father would appreciate what his son does for a job, for fun, and for his happiness. If he enjoys gaming, he enjoys gaming, no arguments are needed against the family. Jesse lost his mother because his father would keep fighting, destroying and synth-like actions with cameras and money. His father stole £30, 000 from his son, he stole from his son, stealing is illegal. His father wants him to move out, live on his own with his own responsibilities when he took the money off him which he needs to do that. This balanced argument might end up nowhere but there could be a victor out of the two.
