Regarding the tolls you pay, it might be worth to check next time how is your truck registered. If it is registered as M1, which means passenger car (N2 means heavy goods truck) in Slovakia and Hungary you don't need to pay truck toll and you can just get the car vignette which is way cheaper and you pay for time and not for km.

It is M1 and we used the regular car vignette in Slovakia, but there is no exemption for M1 vehicles in Hungary :(

Hi John, Phil here 😀 Went down the more scenery approach when I first started KZbin, but nobody was interested. But appreciate the feedback. I'm pretty intrigued about solving issues, I share pretty much everything. I hate the European Lady bugs that have found their way over to the UK they give off an awful stink and cluster together when they settle. We've just had 7 weeks away only to come back and find the little blighters everywhere. It took hours just to get them out of the sash window frames. Like Arnie they will be Back..

Hi Barry, we definitely hear you. It's actually taken about three weeks to eradicate them and even then, one will emerge from a vent 😩. one or two's fine but those clusters are unbearable. Cheers P&I 🙏😀

Do not take any risks with overstaying on schengen. If caught the penalties are brutal - 5 year ban from entering Schengen with no right of appeal! If you arent 100% sure of the rules in your circumstances, legal advice would be advisable.

Thanks. We’re fully aware of the penalties but have been directly advised by the EU in terms of the legislation. However, many others have their own interpretation and we were merely expressing that.
