English used the Lancaster. Read before judging lol My country gave the Azores island base to the Americans launch their bombing runs and make it a wayStation. So what I said is legit. Not all Europe was at war.

In Hohenfels war ich in meiner Zeit als Soldat bei den Panzermörsern auch,das war im Jahr 91/92 , war meine Beste Übung die ich in meiner Bundeswehrzeit hatte ,waren 4 Wochen dort. Schön das dieser Platz neben Bergen/Munster auch noch immer Bedeutung hat dort Erfahrungen zu sammeln , wo die Wetterbedingungen sich schnell ändern können, wie man ab 2:00 sehen kann, ist sehr wichtig .

Cam nets may make it difficult for a fixed wing aircraft to see at 10,000ft but not drones flying much lower. The battlefield has changed. Hardly seems worth the effort these days.

@@graveperil2169both sides are using Russian / soviet tech. MI8’s and MI24’s don’t have the defensive sensor suits NATO aircraft have. Apaches feature a missile warning system that warns the pilot and launches chaff and flare if it detects a missile launch guided or not. The missile doesn’t even have to be aimed at them to trigger the system. Friendly or not. To my knowledge, and I’m sure someone will correct me if I’m incorrect, neither Ukraine or Russia have that kind of system.
