Like 30-40 hours and yeah I am. Lol. It's because I play Scav Girl. The surplus rifle with normal ammo is superior to basically any pistol or smg in the game. I could switch to another AR, but then I would care more about dying. I only take a real weapon into a mission if there is something specific I want to kill. Default weapons work just fine for most things in this game.

@Pillarofcreation1 even with scav girl pistols let you run faster. Not if you want to bring back more loot it isn't. The SURPLUS ammo takes up more cubic units, 1.5 CU adds up. 9x19 ammo is the most space efficient, so you can being a lot of it for very little weight and space. Use both SMG and Pistol in 9x19 and you don't have to load two different ammo types. Try it. Not having to reload every 10 rounds is inferior to every other gun in the game. But hey, if it really helps you, and only you, not die and bring back more loot, more power too you I guess. I don't worry about losing weapons, I just buy more, and loot more.

@@mRahman92 I did not know that pistols let you run faster. I think I actually noticed that once but didn't understand why I felt faster than normal. The surplus rifle is loaded with normal 5.54 when you take it into a mission, not surplus ammo. I rarely take ammo into missions. If i need more bullets, then I pick them up off the ground. Surplus rifle can kill cyborgs with 1 headshot but pistols and smgs both take 4 shots to the head to kill. There is more damage potential in 10 rounds of 5.54 with the surplus rifle than 30 rounds of 9x19 with any gun. Using the surplus gear doesn't really help keep me alive, but it does stop me from getting angry when I die and wasting my time retrieving lost gear.

@Pillarofcreation1 it's okay to lose gear. Just buy more gear. Damage output is still inconsistent in this game. If you want to pack a punch use the USP, it can one shot regular forces, 200 damage. Some missions specifically require you to engage and take out targets. 10 rounds won't do it. A bigger rig makes it easier to carry more ammo into the battlefield. Cheap spawns are less frequent now, but they do happen. But hey, if you actually enjoy running around naked, no ammo, no meds, still at a prestige level of 1, with the 800 HP character, you do you 🫠 Just don't be surprised when you run out and there no ammo to loot of the right caliber.

@@mRahman92 The USP is not purchasable from the shop. You have to complete a quest to get more copies. I do have several, but that's why I get annoyed when I lose them. It might take 10 minutes to get another one. Same goes for the only smg that can initially take both a scope and a supressor (APC9 Pro). You have to get them off the ground.
