Genshin is such a huge game that it's inevitable that some toxic people will enter the community but people generalizing the whole community by a loud toxic minority and then projecting it on the game really pisses me off.

This year for my spotify wrapped i had over 120k minutes of listening to music and most of my time listening to music it wa hoyo music. Hoyo-mix was my top artist and the music is so good. I cant wait for them to release the character demo songs from wanderer to furina. Ill have them all on repeat for next year and fontaine's music is so good. Also suprised you didnt show him the port ormos theme but theres so many great tracks. Thank you for the video!

I was so happy when you showed your friend Cyno's theme song! I really love Sumeru's music especially the desert area, which is why it was so easy for me to clear it so fast lol I know there's a mix reaction for the desert area but I genuinely loved it and the music was the cherry on top

I think Die Mittsommernacht-Fantasie would have been a more interesting listen than Fischl's demo music so it isn't two short demo themes side-by-side for Mondstadt.

I love Genshin music, and how much thought is put into it, not only in character demos or important cutscenes but also even in the background music you hear while playing the game, or exploring. My favourite tracks are the Enkanomiya fight themes ("Undersea encounters" and "Combat Beneath the Waves") and the last song you hear whike exploring the chasm region, especially its battle version ("Inevitable Conflict"). I'd love to see similar reactions to this!

Genuinely was the hardest part was trying to minimize things. The original video was actually like an hour and a half long but I had to cut it down to the best parts or else it would have gotten stale. My other idea is to just have him react to music in another video

You missed a lot of opportunities : - all character demo music is sort of incomplete without the video, the music is made for the video and the video is made for the music. Maybe just more ingame music would have been more relevant - Fischl battle theme would have shown him what he wanted to hear and it's longer - The second year lantern rite music instead of the first year one would have given him the electric guitar part and I think it's the best version of the theme - Nothing for the forest part of sumeru (the main thing of sumeru) - The narwhal theme has nothing to do with fontaine thematically (you said it), it's an abyss theme - the voiceless edit of furina demo basically breaks half of the music - not a single battle theme (open world) - no openworld music - 1 boss theme that is seemingly not the most popular nor most relevant - in the end, you mostly showed electronic music despite 95% of the OST being acoustic, the OST is vastly misrepresented here

I think u should do a music tour like adventure from mondstadt all the way to fontaine. Like u can pick a few representive song from each region, starting from the main theme, specefic region bgm, battle theme and boss theme. With that u can add some overall description to explain the journey/background. But now you are showing him song with random order that would not make sense at all because it hard to immersive yourself with how vastly difference each song compare to each other now

There was WAY too much emphasis on character demos. I would have at least picked one orchestral piece from each region. The fact that your friend got the impression that the first 2 regions of the game sounds 'pretty same-y' in the end when in reality Mond and Liyue OST pieces are highly distinct is an indication that you didn't touch on that facet of the music enough. Anyways, I still appreciate the video. I also like that your friend isn't just a music layman and can provide some analysis.
