I know! I'm going to IDI swap my 351 F-350 and half the people I know are saying "why don't you put a cummins in it and actually go fast" and thats the answer I give them. Plus as a trucker I hear more than enough 6 bangers and want that V8 chug

I am sure IDI's can also be built to do and handle what a cummins will and its way cheaper as you mentioned.

I just got a 4spd 2wd 6.9 f-350 crew cab dually. The end goal is something like this. Happy I’ve found your stuff. Nice roubo. I used to build shuffleboards and pool tables.

Nice job on the video. I have a 85 idi. It's got a ats turbo on it. I feel like building it for big hp. Prob never will it runs great now. But enjoyed the video.

Marvelous! What have you done about fuelling? Extra boost needs more fuel as you know but turning pumps up increases fuelling by injecting it over a longer period (more degrees) so it gets kind of wasted towards end of cycle. Bigger elements allow more fuel over same duration. A good video is diesel pump UK he tests many pump set ups on mercedes, different pumps but same principles.

Hell of a fabricator. You should look into making a clutch pedal assembly for the IDI vans. Only solution now is to pull the brake/clutch box from a factory manual which is next to impossible to find. If you came up with something, people would pay up and I imaging you'd sell a couple hundred of them pretty quick. There are a lot more people wanting a zf5 conversion than there are oem assemblies. I've been looking for over a year now.
