These trucks run on atf. Micron V to be exact. It used to be aft F, but that is next to impossible to find. Also with the fluid looking that bad, you really need to bleed all the crap fluid out. Old fluid is going to wear your new pump out much quicker.

Do you think you could've left the pulley on the pump and just loosened the bolts with a wrench? I broke my puller trying to take the pulley off

You have to take the pulley off or you won't be able to get the pump out of the bracket after you remove the bolts

The tool i have that is the same is that the bolt is different so it wont thread in there

Ok..ok video but I'm at the one part that you had skip...actually getting the old pump out...have my bolts out but seems impossible to get the pump itself out

My 93 ford is all original and all factory with all the bells and whistles..smog and compressor is over the pump having issues lol

You should have flushed the system, that fluid is so contaminated at the end

My steering became vary easy to turn the steering wheel, example I can spin the wheel and it will turn all the over multiple times. Just noticed today pump leaking all over steering arm. time to replace pump?
