Nice work friend. Used to have one on the farm many years ago. And, my Dad was at Harper Adams and great friends with a chap called Martin Brown who was the instigator of the 7810 project at Ford.

Mine is destroyed by former owner. He lost gravels back from the front bucket back on the front fairing, headlights and air box, then I'd noticed oil into the radiator! and then the left door of the cabin , missing R&L lower rear arms with balls+seat+red lights+Interior Fittings of the cabin. I'm looking for someone around Basildon Essex.

Nice 👍 How long did it take to do that? And was there any problems with sandblasting material getting in places it shouldn't have gone?
@williammaybury49864 жыл бұрын
Its hard to tell how long it took, as I was working on it on Saturdays and evenings over a few years, but I could take a break from it for a few months from time to time. I made sure that I taped up any pipes well before sand blasting it. Fellas told me not to sandblast the engine as it can cause problems, but I haven't had any problems. Its the only way to clean it and do it properly.
@WayneMescal4 жыл бұрын
@@williammaybury4986 Right right, a long time so. Sanding material getting into bearings in the front axle and especially around your pto as well is what I would be worried about. Thanks for the reply anyway, hope it keeps going for you now.

Nice but many hours to spend. Where did you find the genuine spare parts at best price ? I've to do the same with a 6610
@williammaybury49863 жыл бұрын
what parts are you referring to? I didnt have to buy a whole pile of parts. Any parts purchased were got from a local New Holland dealer.

Nice job, what type of welder do you use? Was it 2 pack paint? Tks Liam
@williammaybury49863 жыл бұрын
It was a small 3 phase mig welder that was used. All 2 pack paint, it was the Turbo paint that they sell in Crowley chemicals in Cork. Its expensive but supposed to be good.

Where did you get sections of steel for cab and that
@williammaybury49863 жыл бұрын
We made them ourselves. We bought an 8x4 sheet of 1.5mm steel. Cut and shaped them as needed. We bought a shrinker/stretcher. This allows us to to curve the steel around the corners. Without a shrinker/stretcher it would if been very hard to do the corner pieces. I think they were about €400. We also have a hand folder and hand guillotine, which makes it easier also. You can buy the sections from tractor cab specialists now, they weren't available when I was doing up my tractor.
@patrickkelly10553 жыл бұрын
Ah sound thanks ,thinking of getting 7810 and wandering what work would be involved in doing cab of one , good cabs that don’t need to be touched don’t exist for sensible money 😂
@williammaybury49863 жыл бұрын
@@patrickkelly1055 unless you fork out stupid money, be prepared to strip it down and get out the welder. your better off buying one with the rust visable. some amount of yokes filled in and sprayed over. few years in and your in trouble again. The cab isnt too bad, but the doors can be alot of work depending on how bad they are.
@patrickkelly10553 жыл бұрын
Yeah it’s a wander no company has started making doors spurious at sensible money
@williammaybury49863 жыл бұрын
@@patrickkelly1055 you can get them spurious for €450 I think, but a fella told me before to stay a million miles away from them... that they are a disaster..

Salut, belle restauration, as tu une adresse pour les autocollants ?
@williammaybury49863 жыл бұрын
