Tractor was a monster and strong ❤❤ I use to be a row crop farmer and farmed with a ford 8000 and Allis Chalmers tractors. Thanks for sharing

an absolute beast of a tractor them 4 plows ain't nothing at all for that tractor that tractor will very easily pull 8 10 or 12 plows and a 24 foot wide folding disk no problem all day seven days a week 30 days a month and 365 days a year great video

Why does everyone seem to get a plow that’s too small and run their tractors at 1/3 throttle?
@jort45365 жыл бұрын
at 1/3 throttle, the tractor has the most torque

Plus the machine will last a lot longer if u dont abuse it, bigger plow and more throttle equals a lot more heat, and naturally heat is an enemy of any internal combustion engine.

Whata the purpose of pulling the wheel disc behind the plow? Finer soil ?
@FarmerTed5 жыл бұрын
Vox, only idiots and nubs run full throttle all the time. That’s the first thing I have to teach here on the farm. Most torque is always lower than you think and the increase in longevity and decrease in fuel burn is well worth going slower.

@@jort4536 It also has the most traction going slower. What is the point of going faster if you are going to spin your wheels in the process.

Where’s the fenders?
@gary247524 жыл бұрын
The fenders saved my life. I was sitting downhill on a road from the combine my father was on. He was allowing it to roll backwards and I did no realize it until I felt the back of the combine on my back. I immediately hit the clutch and the fender kept the combine from crushing me up against the steering wheel.
