It was very difficult at first. Then I added a 300 pound weight to the box scrape on the rear. That helped a little. The biggest improvement was replacing the skinny 19.5 inch front tires with 16 inch rims wrapped with slick implement tires. The fatter width allowed the tires to "float" on top of the ground rather than digging in. Note the fatter front tires in the video. Also note all turns were gentle with long arcs. The steering box may suffer if you try steer it harder than its design limits.

I have a 54 naa with a dearborn front loader (just got it ) but the bucket wont trip when freed. Im thinking there might not be enough weight sticking out in front of the bucket..any suggestions?

Generally, the weight of the material you scoop into the bucket is enough to allow it to rotate fully when you pull the trip lever. Mine will dump with just a load of wet leaves but, if the bucket is empty, it will barely rotate when the trip lever is operated.
