You did a beautiful job. I love the wheels and tastefully-done bodywork. I had a 73' V6 Capri and 72' 2000 Capri in Southern California. I bought the 73' from our next door neighbor when I was 16 and the 72' from my dad a year later. I drove the hell out of them. That was 36 years ago and I still miss those two cars. The Ford Capri was one of the best-looking cars ever made.

@Brad D I've had several 3 litre models & all MK one's. The V6 was a lovely motor Brad & very tunable, I believe the MK 1's had the purest lines & also the best looking by far. As you say, It would be great to see it come back in a slightly updated guise, not too radical, but something like they did with its big brother the Mustang.

Wow!!! That's one of the best looking capris I've ever seen. Most of the capris I've seen are grotesque after the owners tried to revive them adding modern body kits and wheels with a cherry on top shit spray job. Your car looks very nice man seriously... Don't worry about shitty negative comments you're getting from people here probably driving a old mk1 with clutch cable problems or 150i civic with a filter on.

@M T Yes, a new Capri would have loads of buyers - a few hundred chavs in Essex! As for the music, there is no doubt the reason for it is so we *didn't* have to hear how terrible the Capri engine sounds:) Now if they placed the music over a video of, say, an Aston Martin, TVR or Lamborghini engine, then *THAT* would be terrible.

if u added a ford racing mk1 capri ducktail rear spoiler like rs3100 ur car would be even more a dead ringer for elenor why not fit one colour code do rs stripes and leave well alone lol pity its small light capri or u could've fitted rs3100 3.0 type quad round lamps always looked best om both mk1 and 2s took till mk3 before standard I admire your car its prime example of a customised mk1 capri I congratulate u sir on its beauty and the attention to details and the lines and widened arches look as if ford made it way slogan for car in uk told truth "THE CAR YOU ALWAYS PROMISED YOURSELF " ANYWAY HOPE MORE VIDS IN FUTURE AND BIG SHOUT OUT FROM SCOTLAND TOO YOU KEEP THE GOOD WORK GOIN M8

Should have been the quad light GXL model. The car sits too high and the wheels are too big. Could be a fab car with a bit of tweaking !
