I think, with government subsidies, CEO Farley has the temperament and skills to achieve the goal he has publicly stated. I don't view it as "Hope". Good luck indeed to Ford, but I still like Tesla better as a stock AND company.

Ford has extremely high warranty claims on their ICE cars that they have been building for 100 years. Why should we expect Ford's BEV vehicles with new production problems to be any better.

Ford is pushing to much emphases on trucks, You can saturate the market just so much with them. The big 3 will start eating them. Already trouble ahead.

Ford "hopes" to build 2,000,000 EV's in 2026. I would give them a less than 50% chance of achieving this. Tesla will build 2,000,000 vehicles this year (or at least very close to that number. Ford will not catch up. Not even by half. They will be lucky to avoid going out of business by the end of the decade. I wish them luck, but wouldn't bet on being able to by a 2031 Ford.
