Hello Ronnie, after a short research, the S-MAX self-test is started in the same way as with the Ford Focus 2/3. i.e.: on/off button + footwell ventilation -> auto button. If there are no physical buttons for the climate control, it becomes complicated. ich habe einen Ford Focus Mk2 Kombi 1.6 TDCi von 2010. Seit einiger Zeit wird die Anzeige des Ventilators nicht mehr angezeigt und ich kann auch beide Diagnosen nicht durchführen. Ich konnte vor einem halben Jahr die Programme durchführen ohne Fehlermeldungen. Aber jetzt geht nur noch ein- ausschalten, ohne mit dem Ventilator die Durchströmung zu ändern. Was kann ich hier machen?

The error only says that the fan central position had caused an error. If the automatic climate control otherwise works normally, you can safely ignore it. :-)

Peut-être que la formulation est un peu mauvaise, je classerais simplement cela comme une erreur de signal et donc défectueux.

@@htbo Juste pour te dire que j'ai emmené la voiture chez un mecano , il m'a vider le gaz de la clim, puis a réinjecter du gaz et ca a déboucher le cote droit, du coup la clim marche a fond des deux cotes.

@@htbo Danke für die Antwort. Ja, die Klimaautomatik macht in der Form Probleme, dass sie Aussetzer hat. Wartung der gesamten Anlage und Tausch des Innenraumsensors brachten keinen Erfolg. Ich bin da ziemlich ratlos und kann mir auch keine Werkstatt leisten, die auf Verdacht erst mal alles austauscht ohne zu wissen, was das Grundproblem ist.

Hello! this feature is available on most newer Ford Focus models. this is not only to defrost the windows automatically but also to get the engine up to operating temperature faster, which is a good thing. you can't deactivate it via the on-board computer, you would have to drive to the Ford dealer.

hi! normally the logic of the key combination is always the same. unfortunately, i can't say whether this also applies to the air conditioning system controlled via the screen. you'd have to try that if you haven't already done it. otherwise i will soon use a focus mk3 facelift as a test object. it should be the same procedure there.

@@htbo aktualnie jest u mechanika, przy zimnym silniku gdy go odpalam słyszę stukniecie tak jak by łańcuch był za luźny i on stukał? Sam nie wiem. Jest jedna rzecz która mnie nie pokoi mianowicie świeci mi się lampka pomarańczowa na zegarze w lewym dolnym rogu, jest to (kuhlflussigkeitsstand) wiatrak w silniku więc kontrolka od chłodzenia cały czas się pali i nie chce zgasnąć. Co to oznacza? Co jest problemem, również mam problem z obrotami gdy silnik się nagrzeje słychać wycie silnika (nie są to wentylatory) i sam silnik przyspiesza a gdy mu dam sprzęgło obrotomierz sam rośnie na około 3000 obrotów, dopiero gdy go zdusze lub dodam mocno gazu silnik się uspokaja i normalnie pracuje. Co może być przyczyną tych problemów?

It is always very difficult to make an exact analysis by remote diagnosis. In this case, it could even be that the dealer has to activate something on the software side.

Hello! Thanks for this wonderful video! I have a Focus 2014 MK3, which Climatronic looks very different (see this image: web.denverauto.com.ar/asset/img/uploads/1533584623712_1470387684584.jpg). If I switch the key to CONTACT, click the Power Button and the Foot button together and inmediately tap on AUTO, it doesn't to anything. Any suggestion? My Climatronic is working really mad. When selection COLD (both sides to LO), Pilot deliver a very light cold air and the CoPilot, just external air. If I switch CoPilot to 28C, it starts deliverying HOT AIR (as it should), but PILOT continues to deliver COLD AIR even when it automatically changed to 25c!!! VERY MAD!!
