Aww sweet Jesus! if you could get a ride in the TARDIS back to circa1968 you would have designed the MK3 with these specifications. I'm sixty and remember Dad bought a 1600 MK3 station wagon in navy blue. It had full bench front seat and sandy coloured upholstery,we thought we were the dogs danglers,in fact Babyboomer are the best. That sound of the 2.9i and the stance as the car passes is visceral. I'll shuttup...I want a car like that.

How about the gearbox? I have a 2 door mk3 and I'm almost finished with a BOA swap.. Can I also ask what throttle cable are you using?.. Mine didn't bring the original so I have one on it just temporarily.. And another thing, can you tell me some info about the engine mounts?.. I need to make or buy a proper set and I would be very thankful if you could help me with that..

You're thinking of the 2.9 V6 Sierra XR 4X4 engine. This one is the NA Cosworth engine from the late model Granada Scorpios.
