Do you know why Ford switched the front axle on the F250-F350 from the Dana60 in the 2017-2022 trucks to the M235(Dana 50) axle in the 2023-2024 trucks which is composed of weaker parts and is less durable? Thanks for the video.

Hi @rameylewis7730! We don't have specific info on why Ford makes any changes, but automakers often make changes to vehicle specifications for various reasons. This could be due to cost considerations for the end buyer, weight savings and engineering improvements.

@@JessFordGroup Thanks for the response. I can't believe making it weaker would be an engineering improvement, but I can see cutting costs or possible weight savings which really doesn't't make much sense on a SD truck.

Does the vehicle need to be in park/stopes to switch between modes?

Nope! You could be going down the highway and switch between modes on the fly!

Correct! Anytime you switch from 2H, 4H, and 4L, it is a safe practice to put your vehicle in park or neutral. Anytime you are switching drive modes on your Ford vehicle (eco, sport, slippery, tow/haul, mud, normal, deep snow and sand, rock crawl, etc), you do not have to put it in neutral or park!

Hi @FDAngellady! The 2023 Escape drive mode is going to be a button on the center consol. It will have a flag, snowflake and leaf on it. Once you click it, your infotainment center will change to your drive mode options! Certain trim packages and options of the Ford Edge, particularly in more recent model years, may come equipped with Drive Modes for enhanced driving experiences. I am not sure what options are on your specific edge, but your best bet is to check your owners manual! I know that isn't much help, so I apologize! We will create a KZbin short pointing out the different drive mode buttons/knobs and where they are located on different models!

2024 f250, this is my first sd so I was lost and looking in the manual is a joke , the online one. But I figured it out . That rotor switch which I thought turned on the 4wd. Buttons for 4wd. I’m still learning . Thanks for getting back to me!!! ​@@JessFordGroup

Brand new 2024 F-250 with 70 miles on it. Seventy miles from the dealer that is and it still won't shift out of Off Road use. What kind of trade do you think I could get for a new Ram?

I'm sure they'd give you 3-4 Ram 2500's, fill them all up and throw in paint protection, window tint and an extended warranty (you'll definitely need that).

Hi @dgeppert! Given that the truck is brand new and under warranty, the best course of action is to contact the dealer where you purchased the vehicle! They can provide immediate assistance and arrange for repairs, if necessary. Where are you located?
