Thanks for taking the time and effort to make these videos. SSSC stands for Special Service Support Center. Like you said a lot of other manufacturers are having issues. I too feel that all this "business" has been done on purpose as in "orders from above" to make electric vehicles look more palatable to the general public.

My 2017 Focus 1.0 just did the same thing. I have been getting letters in the mail, but no parts were available to fix it. It started rattling and knocking. The oil light came on first. Then the check engine light and battery light. All of a sudden the car completely loses power and I had to coast into a parking lot. It was scary. Thankfully I wasn't on the interstate. The car was towed to Ford dealership and I walked home. Glad I wasn't in an accident!

personally, I think Ford should be buying all of the cars back... But we know that will never happen... I am crossing my fingers that the recall resolves my issue, then it is going to get sold or traded off... I would have never purchased the car if I knew it even had a timing belt, or even worse, a wet belt...

Oil filters? It's about the recall. SSSC is for the technician. Not the customer. It's the warranty side. I explained it.

tensioner is fine,,it's the belts thats the problem...its from the day they made them,not from 2017...had a fiesta come in and belt had snapped..2014 with 75,000mls...dog shit engine

So a broken/fractured tensioner is fine? Okay got it. Not all of the cars have the same problem. Broken/fractured tensioner. Degraded belt. Or both. Literally days it in the recall. Under "reason for this recall"
