I'm considering buying a 1989 Ford e350 high top conversion with 120k on it for 6k, but I'm gonna try to talk them down. Any advice for what would be good to ask a mechanic to look out for?

Check for rust around the body bolts and in core support behind grille. Have mechanic check king pins on front axle.

I didn't see louvers on the website...they are very expensive on other websites...who wants to pay 2 to 3 hundred for louvers ?

My video is a couple of years old now. I just googled louvers and it looks like they run about $167 a set now from various places. So I guess that determines how bad you want them.

How long did they stay stuck on mine didn’t last a week

Few weeks. I reattached them directly to the windows with 3M molding tape. Been fine since.
