I’m 28yo and I’ve always been intimidated on touching anything under the hood of a car. After watching this video I can honestly say this was super easy to do and super beginner friendly for anyone trying to do this on their own.

Hey Ford Boss Me, didn't know you had another channel, is this an abandoned one? Anyway, its the only one I found on youtube that shows how to removing that hose connected to the intake host with the yellow clips, thank you very much! I was outside ready to do the spark plug job on my 19 ecoboost 2.0 with 32,000 miles and I was in shock about that 2nd hose with the yellow connector, was able to complete it successfully after watching you remove them. Thanks a bunch.

I put grease in both ends of the coils. Is that a problem? Should I clean out the end closest to the coil?

wifes 2014 edge just had P219A and P0302 come up. going to try swapping out the spark plugs this week and see if that fixes it ! seems like the 219A codes leads you to the mis fire code. i hope.

AT 3:18 you start removing the yellow connector - I broke this connector. Thankfully, I was still able to maneuver things enough to finish the job. The hose is still on there very tight and the car is running great. Is there a way to just replace the end piece with the connector, or does the whole hose need to be replaced? And what is the name of the hose so I can get a replacement, if needed. Lastly, if I don't replace it, what is the danger if the hose becomes disconnected at some point while driving? Thanks!
@fullcend-tkm734 жыл бұрын
If you don't notice any drivability concerns and you think that the hoses on their fine, I wouldn't really worry about it, but they don't replace those clips. You have to replace the whole entire hose if you ever want to do it

Or take a small thin tiny zip tie and slide it through the slot and that could lock it in as well.

2017 Ford Edge with misfire and p0054, p0141, and p0138 codes. Going in on the 5th to Ford and hoping whatever they find is covered under warranty. Why is it that I have no experience changing plugs on Toyota’s and Honda’s year every ford I ever owned, i am changing plugs like we are still in the 70’s.
@fullcend-tkm733 жыл бұрын
This is a common issue with Ford vehicles because of blow by and because a lot of the vehicles are starting to go to direct injection so the back of the valves don't even get cleaned properly and if you have an ecoboost engine you're going to be putting plugs in it every 35 to 40,000 miles
