3.2 is tempting now. But I prefer Alturas over 2.2 though. The headlight washer was removed long ago. (no 2018 cars have it)

There is a slight update in instrument cluster too. Tyre pressure monitoring system shows psi in each tyre individually, before the facelift there was only a warning sign about low tyre pressure and instrument cluster won't tell you which tyre or show tyre pressure of any tyre. Trust me being a owner of endeavour, i can surely say this is a HUGE upgrade yet so small. Please like so everyone can read this comment.

I agree with your view of Ford, Faisal! Took a test ride of Freestyle and Ecosport - The handling and build quality is uncompromised. (We were chauffer driven in Aspire and Endeavour) The Endeavour is a FORTRESS. The Ford guy said that it's an elephant amongst SUV's - huge and elegant.

Endeavor looses out headlight washer, Cigarette lighter,SD card reader .In place of SD card now single USB port.Cigarette lighter replaced by 12 volt point and other 12 volt point near driver side replaced by USB port

Hi Faisal, thank you for the review. You are the only one who would think of checking the wipers, which is extremely important in india during monsoons. Just a question, where did you get the figure of 72 paise/km of maintenance cost? I have owned an Endeavour 3.2 auto 4x4 for the last 8 years, and can comfortably say that the ownership experience has been nothing less than bliss. The only DRAWBACK of owning a Ford is the service. It gives you nightmares, thats where Toyota excels by miles. Hope Ford pull up their socks!! Thanks once again for the great review.

The new endeavour's resale value , reliability , service is way better than than Toyota fortuner. This is because of the competition in the market .Ford has really done its home work well and given its customers the true value it deserved . Clearly endevour is way better then fortuner . Hi Faisal, Which of the following SUVs should be bought, keeping in mind rear seat comfort (preferring silky smooth ride; for my parents) and minimal body roll (basically the rear seat comfort of a comfortable sedan) [Current car: Hyundai Neo Fluidic Elantra 1.6 CRDi SX AT, with an amazing rear seat comfort]: 1. Ford Endeavour 3.2 AT (body-on-frame) 2. The soon to be launched Hyundai Tucson facelift Diesel AT (monocoque) 3. The 2021 next generation Hyundai Tucson (monocoque) 4. Kia Sorrento (to be launched in 2020-2021) (monocoque) 5. Kia Telluride (to be launched in 2020-2021) (monocoque) 6. Hyundai Santa Fe (if at all it is re-launched in India) (monocoque) The second row seat of Toyota Fortuner sucks, plus Fortuner has a lot of body roll. I never sat in an Endeavour. But I imagine it wouldn't be much different than Fortuner. I want it for my parents. They should seat in utmost comfort on the second bench. Do elaborate too on your suggestion. Don't know why all the reviewers give the impression that the puddle lamps are part of the 2019 facelift. This feature has been there on my 2016 model all along. And, the headlamp washers usage don't really depend on the driver (as in there's no activation switch for it). It actuates on every third yank of the manual windscreen washing toggle. A pretty useful feature and frankly in keeping with the Endy's premium image, now deleted for cost-cutting reasons.
