Ford Everest Titanium 3.2 Premium -is it better than the Fortuner 2.8v? -Philippines

I just bought one top spec 3.2 Titanium Premium+! Just had it’s first 150kms and it was a blast with all the features. Waaaaay better than the Fortuner in my opinion. The engine never seems stressed in hard acceleration. Just wonderful!

Because if he really is considering which SUV is better, then he should tackle all topics. BTW I own a 2013 Ford Explorer Limited Edition and a 2018 Fortuner TRD Edition.

Remember, he tested the performance of this SUV and not the price tag and availability of parts. If I tested a car, I will check the features, handling ang performance. Those people who bought a Mercedes, they didn't care about how much the maintenance. They are just after the prestige and luxury.

nakapagbtest drive ako ng Montero and fortuner. I ended up getting the Everest 2.2l titanium. Considering na naka 20inches rim and a low profile tires na ang everest titanium ay napaka sarap edrive. ung 2.2l engine kahit na maliit as compare sa fortuner and montero ay malakas.pa rin at napaka smooth. Luxurious feel pa ang cabin.

Shadow Hedgehog, the Ford Everest Titanium 2.2 engine is incredibly light & incredibly easy to drive-almost too light and easy. At moments, manuevering at low speeds tend to lean on overly-assisted. It's convenient, especially for beginner drivers, but it does take a little getting used to if you're accustomed to older SUVs. Things change on the highway, however, as the vehicle's handling firms up once it gets to speed. This SUV's suspension & chassis impress. You'll run right over most road imperfections without incident, and body roll is minimal provided you're not pushing the vehicle to its limits. Overall, the Everest is a very composed, very comfortable SUV.

Hi thanks for following my channel. I can't comment much on the reliability of the 3.2 titanium since its still a pretty new vehicle. But i owned a 2013 Ford Ranger which shares the same platform as the everest and it was a very reliable vehicle for me. If fuel efficiency is important to you, i would go for the 2.2L titanium 4x2 with premium package. It has most of the features of the 3.2 premium except for the fact that it has a smaller engine and its 4x2

If you are looking for fuel economy car, buy a hybrid or smaller engine like Toyota Rush and Honda CRV. I guess these cars are just using 1.5 liter engine. Again, it depends where are you planning to use a car. If you will just drive to work in Metro Manila, get smaller engine, but if you are fond of going to countrysides and mountains, get a bigger engine.

Will most likely wait for the updated version but wonder which is the better purchase between this and the everest 2.2 titanium with premium package. Afaik the only difference is the engine and 4wd capability but is 2.2 enough to power its body? Thinking the 3.2 engine might even be more economical than the 2.2 cause it doesn't have to work as hard. Could be wrong someone shoot some numbers my way between the two.

3.2 has a bigger and heavier engine and has permanent 4WD. 2.2 has a lighter engine and permanent RWD. For city driving, 2.2 is better. If you go off-roading, get the 3.2 for the 4WD capabilities. There isn’t any other difference from both as they are both premium packages.

He tested the performance and not reliability. How can you tell if a car is reliable when it's just came out from the dealer. I know Toyota is known to its reliability, but what happened when they have problems in 2009 on their Lexus and Camry? I never owned a Toyota and Ford, but I have driven those cars before especially Everest. If you want fun to drive car, get a Ford and it you want reliable car, get Toyota.

the ride quality of the everest is slightly better imho. there's a lot less cabin noise in the everest and the suspension seems to be better at absorbing bumps.
