I want to express my heartfelt thanks. I found myself in the same situation and was really frustrated about it. This experience has taught me a valuable lesson. Sometimes, we solve problems on our own but don't dare to share our solutions in video. Thanks to people like you, who do, I am very grateful.

So glad it helped! I know how frustrating it is for sure. =) What you said also reminds me of a line from a kids movie… monsters inc. I think…. The slogan for the power company that provided the energy from screams and later the laughter of children was “we scare because we care” I am pretty sure anyway hehe. But it made me think of, we share because we care. I read a blog I think without any pictures or video that described some similar process online…. When I looked for a video to help I found nothing. So once I did it and figured it out I wanted to help others like I was helped. And if a pictures is worth a thousand words, a video it amazing! Thanks for the kind words! =)

Ahrg so simple yet I have been here for 40 minutes trying to get this working. Watched this video, barely pulled and it worked. I want to thank you for your video.

Lol I had the same experience, I guess it is just the angle the force is applied? Anyway glad the video helped, this was a very frustrating problem for me until I figured it out.

Thank you for this video! I was trying to put that exact seat back up and couldn’t figure it out. I just moved the front seat forward and pushed the middle seat all the way down. I pulled the lever again and it went right up. Worked like a charm!

This worked! I didn't have to get inside and pull, it's literally the bottom cushion needs to be moved forward as much as possible to raise the back part. Thank you family, I was sure I had lost my last bit of sanity 😆

Yeah,I was thinking about trying that, but this works great for me as the mechanism was working fine, just the headrest being on jams the mechanism so it can’t release very easily.
@christopherbruce90103 жыл бұрын
I have that problem in mine. But the head rest was removed and it still gets stuck. Idk how to fix it. The lever doesn't seem to function properly.
@ScaryTalkingHead3 жыл бұрын
@@christopherbruce9010 hmm when you move the lever do you notice the cable at the back of it? Can you follow that cable and see if it is pulling when you move the lever? If it is then you can eliminate that as being bad….it might be that the mechanism is not unlocking. I read a post where a guy had to take the seat out and lubricate the parts and that fixed the problem for him. Perhaps that would work for you, or you could try and lubricate the parts that are accessible to you easily before you take the seat out? I hope you are able to fix it….annoying problem for sure

@@ScaryTalkingHead thank you. I'll give that a try.
