Good news! But use limited slip with caution, it tends to brake axles 😅

@@shittysolutions if I were to install limited slip it'd be rear 1st, which is currently just spider gears. The remainder of what you've documented is how to disassemble the ttb and gain access because I'm sure eventually I'll need to service right side u-joint.

Ah, yes accessing front differential is hard work, very hard work. Don't forget to change all the seals while ttb is disassembled

WoW!! Incredible job. Do you know if it is possible to do the same in a Toyota Rav4 xa10? It has rear LSD and a lockable central diff. It'll be amazing... Thank you!!

Thank you! Guess you could find something aftermarket for rav4 but it wouldn't be easy to find or cheap to purchase. Locking front wheels strongly effects steering, would recommend locker for front differential 😅

Is there a way to change the inner axle seal without dropping the differential?

There's possibility, but it would be extra hard task. You can always remove axle and check if there is access. At least passengers side has better access to the seal.

Front axle seals are easy to change, but realy hard to get to them. I had to remove whole front differential from TTB to change them. But once you commited it is doable :) I did not need to change gear ratio because I've kept original pinion and ring gears. These items fitted without any issues on Jeep DANA35.

I have to give both this video and the person who filmed it a thumbs down. The maker of this video skipped filming several steps during both the disassembly and reassembly of this front differential of which I needed to view for repairs to my own 1994 Ford Explorer. My center "U-Joint" just to the right of the front differential is totally shot, and the whole right axle including the center "U-Joint" comes as one whole unit, because you can't replace just the center "U-Joint" by itself. So therefore I have to replace the whole right axle shaft from the differential clear out to the right wheel, and I don't know if the front axles are like the rear axles and differential and you have to open up the differential and remove a couple of "C" clips holding the axles in place in order to remove the axles from the differential like you have to do on the rear differential. Well, on the plus side. He at least had the good sense to take the time to explain to any potential audience what he was doing, and how he was doing it and didn't insist upon playing some stupid music for me to have to listen to like a lot of "You-Tubers" insist upon doing because they are too "Lazy" to use their mouth with words to explain what they are doing, and how they are doing it.

Uf, this was quite harsh comment, but you are right, I had no idea what I was doing while filming this process and performing differential change.
