My rrans started slipping, went to a shop, the mechanic ran it on the machine, and told me I needed a new trans. My neighbor told me to have the fluid changed, something I asked the mechanic to do so we can see if that will help. After seeing this video, I'm going to go to another mechanic to see what he says. I think this might be all that I need. My brother (RIH) was my mechanic, I'd work on cars with him. Now everyone wants to rip me off. Thank you for this video.

I am original owner of 02 explorer. I have changed Trans fluid at every 50,000 miles. Got 190000 miles and no problems. Best thing to do to keep the Trans running trouble free. Great advice...

Ford does shit ass backwards sometimes. "Let's make a transmission that is a bitch to be serviced" oOh yeah, if there's any issues let's make sure no one can easily check the fluid levels! Oh YEA LETS NOT HAVE A DIP STICK EITHER.

@@Wildwonderrrs Just drain and fill. A flush is likely to break metal shavings apart and cause issues. Unless it has been flushed regularly since day 1, it's not worth the risk

I don't think you got the level right. It is supposed to be drip.pause.drip.pause.drip - In your video yours was gurggling slowly but continuously. I would re-level your fluid since you probably have too much in there.
