Ford Explorer Wheel Hub Explosion: A Near-Disastrous Trip to the Quarries

There are no mountains in Lithuania, and only hills that can be found nearby are in quarries. We decide that it's time to escape from boring plains and head out towards hills.

I blew thru 4 different hubs until I switched to warn manual hubs. Good to sleep the old explorer getting some love overseas

how many kilometers/miles has your explorer driven?

Odometer readings shows 280k km, although our country has national tradition of rewinding odometers, therefore I would guess it has driven much more kilometers

That's awesome, my 91 sport has 480,000 km on the original engine and has not been opened yet for anything internal. However, almost everything external has been replaced at least once. Most of the body is rusted away and it is strictly for offroad only. Have to trailer it out to the backcountry or spend a ton of money to rebuild the body. ❤❤​@shittysolutions

Yessir, although I have it 30 mpg in cdn gallons( can gallons are slightly larger than us gallons) if I fill it right to the top and don't stop for anything until she sputters. But you have to stay on the highway to fo it, every where else she's a thirsty girl!😂❤ Not too much busts unless you wheel it really hard in stock form.
