Nice job using your head. Spreading the end of the leaf spring where the bushing sits was a great idea. I've watched 3 other videos of guys beating the tar of it for a half hour. Hats off to you!

Should have lubed them up with silicone grease before reassembling. Now they'll squeak.

Definitely. Never install new bushings dry unless you like doing this job over and over. No matter if you're using polyurethane or rubber bushings you need to use gratuitous amounts of SILICONE lubricant on the bushings to keep them quiet as well as repelling water. Silicone does not deteriorate bushings like regular petroleum grease does.

Not to mention inviting rust to form at a much faster pace. Should have cleaned out the eye first and then added the lube to it.

Me too! I bought new energy suspension bushings for my 03 F350 at least a year ago and am now just getting around to changing them. (Buy bushings from someone else as half of this kit does not fit an 03 F350). I wish I knew that before spending the $250+ on them.

you can cut that old sleeve with a sawzall or a file so u don't break eyelets

I need to do these on mine. I did the sway bar bushings last month, made a bit of a difference. Rode rough as hell at first lol.

1972FordF150 These made a slight difference, road textures seem smoother than before. Probably helps that the bushings are out of round anymore lol.

I wound up putting KYB gas adjusts on the front and KYB GR2's on the rear. Got a super cheap deal on them all. Damn what a difference there lol. Sway bar bushings made the truck ride rough for a while now it's smoother than ever. All that's left are the leaf spring bushings.

I noticed your bushings had a metal sleeve, did the bottom rear small bushing have a sleeve too or was it a molded in bushing? mine have sleeves in the big bushings but the small one in the rear is molded and am confused on which kit is the right one.

Rafael Cervera Sony HandyCam HDR-XR260. I've had it for about 2 years now. Hard drive on it didn't last long since it got dropped however I always use the SD card anyways.

Sam Tucker i used a chisel to spread open the eyelet and another chisel to pound out the rest of the bushing
