In action here we have a 1964 Ford Falcon Sprint Historic Touring Race Car with the sound of its 4.7 V8 engine.
This is the 2nd generation of Falcon that were produced from 1964-1965.
Falcons became quite successful in motorsport with a 2nd place finish at the 1964 Monte Carlo Rally driven by Bo Ljungfeldt and are regularly used in historic touring car championships.

The 64 Falcon and the 65 Mustang are the same car under the skin. I think the 64/65 Falcons were very good looking cars. A 64 Falcon Sprint was the car that a guy bought when his wife wouldn't let him buy a Mustang.

ive owned my 65 since 1979 . has a 351-c 4 bolt 8v tunnelram . i love it ! but the chevy guys around here dont . lol.

@@Chicane500 thank u ! yes, from teenager to old man , still got it . a body sitting in a field , i had to take it home with me . many drivetrains later , better than ever now . its been my pickup , snow plow , tractor , family car and quarter mile car . lol. im easy on it nowadays , unless a camaro or something shows up lol .
