Ford Fiesta 1.2 Petrol 2009 82BHP Clutch Replacement

Hi everyone and welcome back to another video, Today we are replacing a clutch on a 2009 '#ford #fiesta #clutchreplacement.
Clutch parts are hard to come by and this model for the ford fiesta there only seems to be one place can source the parts from. but never the less we are out and replacing this unit for a valued customer
Car has done 92k and clutch is slipping in every gear.

Good video. But I have to say watching Kevin-Albert Williams' videos is more enjoyable because he shows more detail and his camera work is great. Couldn't see what you were doing when you replaced the slave due to the position of the box.

Hi mate i think my bearing is gone also on a gearbox as it is ticking and sometimes on start it slips also that is the clutch isn't?

Great video! I’ve got mine off over torqued the clutch plate but I cannot for the love of me get the gearbox back on. It’s like it won’t slot into the spline on the gearbox I’ve lubed it up but it will not go in

Try turning a drive shaft to move the splines (car not in gear ) while you jimmy the gearbox in and out …. did you align the new clutch ?

What was the oil from? The gear box?

U must drain the gearbox oil after u have to top up and also bleed the clutch

nice video. is 90k a good life for a clutch?

yes i normally advise people a clutch lasts around the 90k mark, but some last longer and some fail before that. The most notable vehicle i work on is the Volkswagen transporter range they always seem to fail around the 45/50k mark.
