Thinking about switching out my 2016 fiesta engine and transmission with a 2013 fiesta model from a salvage yard. Did you have any issues with reprogramming the modules to cooperate with the new engine and transmission? And great stuff man love the real and raw content, you gained a new subscriber👍

Hi buddy thanks for watching and subscribing means alot😁 if the other engine is the same then you can use your original engine ecu if not that's another story you would either get a whole ecu kit clocks engine ecu and transponder from the same car the engine came from.the gearbox will be OK if its manual as it has no electrics. Hope that helps 🙏

Thanks for Watching luckly the new engine came with 2 other so they got changed of camera as didn't want to risk it same with all the wiring and electrical 👍👍👍

Iv dune the same thing with my car but it won't start the starter motor won't turn over but I hear the fuel pump prime

Have you tried the earth's on the engine .have you tried bumping the car also 👍

Love a good mechanical vid. Sounds like it's running well, I'd be proper crossing my fingers starting it for the first time!! How long did the whole job take ya think?

Hey mate thanks for Watching i did have a better edit but lost it and gave up as it took ages to do🤬it, yup all ways dread the 1st start up especially when I never seen the engine running. It took me a day to get it out and put back in and few hours next day to tinker with everything and finish it completely 😁

How long would it take from starting to getting the engine out? Would 1 day do it? Thanks

Depends how early u start and wanna finish I would say u could as I had it out in half a day but alow for 2 days 👍good luck

wow the 1.25 are quite a little lump for only a 1.2 motor
