Great film. I owned two Fiesta RS Turbos in the 1990s - both from new. The first was a 90H which got stolen and written off at eight months old but as it was less than a year old it was replaced on the insurance with another brand new car, this time a 91J. Both were grey. I kept the second car and used it sparingly for six years and sold it with 28 000 miles on the clock. Great mid range punch and a really smooth and comfortable car with those Recaro seats.

I had one of these tuned by Castle Performance. A genuine Cosworth killer as I did many times with my friends 330 bhp Sapphire and he absolutely HATED it 😂. -31 actuator, beige injectors, t3, scorpion, Castle chipped and the boost wound up to about 20 at peak. I always remember going into Eyoin Clarke at Castle and not being happy with the power. They took it out for a run and came back and said mate… it’s spinning 3rd in the dry what more power do you want 😂 My only gripe is it suffered rust wise no matter how much I cared for it including the entire filler neck that fell through mid refuel! My cousin has still has 2. A track/fast road and a standard black one along with an S2 RS turbo and a couple of 306 GTI-6’s. He’s living his teenage years again the lucky sod.

I think the RST was the Fiesta to have really. Too bad the chassis wasn't as good as the engine, when Ford finally offered a good one on its MK IV they stopped producing a sports version.

Haha some people out there who aren’t all that into cars never even knew the RS Turbo existed 🤦🏼♂️ I remember having to prove to my mate at school back in the day that there was such thing as a Fiesta RS Turbo lol.

Too bad this pocket rocket didn't get a chassis worthy of its great engine.

Ultra rare because they all rotted away as opposed to low production
@CarFocused3 жыл бұрын
They only made 52 of the Moondust silver cars seen in this video. A lot of them certainly did rot away though!
