Ford Figo Aspire (Petrol) Long Term Review - Autoportal

I have been driving this car for over an year now (diesel version), and i have also driven most of the other entry to mid range sedan's, and here is my honest review. 1.I have seen many people asking for the rear seat's and i feel they are very comfy and spacious only two highlights which i feel like mentioning is the lack of cup holder in the rear doors and the bumpy transmission rod hood. There is also a arm rest which is foldable and is a feature i really liked. 2. The dashboard is the best (atleast in my point of view) just ignore the huge stack of buttons (which are very handy once you learn to use them), besides the steering mounted buttons are just enough to do most of useful job's. I really liked the layout and the material. 3. THE WORST THING ABOUT THIS CAR. Unfortunately is the gear box (i know many would counter-agree), its old style and just decent, actually gear shift is very smooth but the whole experience is not crisp when compared to newer generation gear-box which kinda guide the gear whereas in this case i have to guide the gear. 4. THE BEST THING ABOUT THIS CAR. To be frank i have driven a lot of cars, to name a few hyundai verna, tyota etios, suzuki ciaz and xcent(many more). and among all these flagship cars i have had the best driving experience with ford. It's just so aggressive and responsive. If i were to put the experience in most descriptive manner i would say its a powerful, supportive, responsive, drivable and reliable driving experience.

This car is really well built and the materials used are pretty solid! Would like to share a few incidents that happened within 1 month of the car's purchase (not proud of them :P) 1. My car was parked in the wrong area, so it got towed away. Guess what, the towing guy's hydraulic pump broke and spill all the oil on the road while trying to lift the car. This car is heavier than any car in its segment! 2. My car's left side view mirror collided with an Indica's right side view mirror. Mine simply closed, with a tiny scratch. His mirror, however, broke completely and fell down on the road. The collision must have happened at 5kmph.

I got one in my family and one thing I am smitten by is it's cabin silence. Except for grand i10 no car comes close to aspire in nvh (but i10 lacks in safety features, is costlier and doesn't look as good). Ignis and tiago fare not much better than my old santro in nvh department. Ignis has a sporty exhaust note through but it's cabin plastic quality is horrendous. Tiago is a good car but the dancing gear stick at idle is disturbing. The gear lever of Ford won't vibrate even at 100 kmph and the car remains rock stable. I have been driving it for 2 years and every time I sit, it still feels like a new car. There hasn't been the slightest change in nvh in 2 years and 14k kms. Speaks volumes about quality. For sedate city driving the petrol is a very good option. BTW, mileage is around 13.5 kmpl which may be a bummer for some.

Here i20 comes in different segment, anyway if your first preference is comfort then i20 is the ideal choice, because in i20 you will get great suspension, stearing mounted controls and very light stearing wheel. But if you are the person who is looking for mileage then you should go for amaze.

Ankit soni Ciaz is a more premium but if that doesn't matter much to you I'll recommend aspire diesel for the following reasons 1. More powerful yet equally fuel efficient 2. Better driving dynamics and handling 3. More safety features 4. Lower maintenance cost than swift dzire as well 5. Cheaper yet delivers excellent ownership experience Reasons for choosing ciaz 1. More spacious and comfort in city of you'll be chaffeur driven 2. Better interiors 3. More legroom and bootspace Cons 1. Low power 2. Doesn't deliver as premium experience as rivals Honda city and VW vento so if you test these 2 cars you may feel ciaz to be lacking 3. Not so good build quality for the price In short, in my opinion ciaz won't deliver that better experience as will be expected for the price difference, rather aspire will be better in driving pleasure and performance. Ciaz will be better if you'll have a chaffeur, yet aspire diesel can be a good buy at less than 9 lakh₹

I feel this one is the Best Car in the Segment, other good car is Toyota Etios Platinum, if you don't spending bit extra (need to ignore its Taxi Image). Honda Amaze - Quite Spacious and smooth iVtec Engine but the lack of Low End Torque is really annoying while climbing. Maruti Swift Dzire - Quaite a fun to Drive Car but seems like its ageing, ABS & Airbags are Optional in LXi and VXi Variant. Rear Leg Space and Boot also seems to be limited. VW Ameo - Rear sitting space is again very tight. Engine is also not so powerful.

Aashin person Two things 'll change your mind. if you compare both having same amount of displacement and also without turbo or while both having turbo. likely 1.4 TSI MT (jetta) vs even 1.5 TDI (vento) and just check out specs. Turbo petrol can also provide good amount of torque.

Petrol, Titanium with safety pack (O). On Road was arnd 7.3 and current mileage in city is arnd 9 with 500 kms driven with heavy traffic at all times. Yet to take it out for a long one.

i always prefer petrol cars. i have 1.6 petrol classic .also had 1.3 rocam flair . while driving on highway above 3500 rpm , mileage doesn't matter ." Ford please provide ecoboost on sedan also " . i really want to challenge 1.2 tsi gt .....with 1.0 ecoboost . once i decided to replace it with 1.0 ecosport but really ground clearance and body type matters while I'm driving.😂😂😂

aspire built quality not even in compare with Ameo,as material used in aspire is not good at all in compare to VW ameo!!! Gear shipment is also poor in aspire,steering wheel not so sporty like Ameo!!!! So buyers dont get confused...n in short take test drive before buying Aspire!!!

I don't know why this man is jeopardising his credibility. this 1.2L motor is not at all refined and lacks punch. build quality is a lot lighter than earlier Ford cars. plastics of the interior starts to squeak at an early stage of ownership. And gear box is rubbery. Oh yes! the petrol motor is not nearly as refined as it's Japanese counterparts.
