Florin Baran Thanks! the back doors are close to the same process as the front. The rear doors have less hardware.

@@YoJohnnyO awesome! will definitely try!. the reason for which I'm doing this is to mount some ambient lights - using el wire luminous tubes. i was thinking of taking power supply from the window button in each door. do you have any advice or thoughts for this?

Florin Baran yeah you could do it that way, or run a power and ground to a switch to them

Need to replace the black fabric inserts on my ST doors as they’re bubbling. Do you know if that fabric is easy to remove. I want to replace it with some Alcantara.

It i remember correctly, that section has plastic tabs/rivets on it, it goes into the door panel then they stamp them down by melting them down. Ive never tried to remove it. You cam try to find a replacement section and re fabric that piece maybe
