yeah.. But measuring the fluid-- you're assuming it was at the right level when you drained it; which is not always the case. People love to overfill their transmissions. I wouldn't trust that personally. I don't trust the last guy that was here. :) I always pull that fill plug; just like you did.

You're correct but it's nice having different options. I like to personally check the fluid's actual level but I'm sure there are lots of people who just want to get it done or aren't as concerned with it.

If you don’t have a lot of time, a lift or 4 jackstands handy maybe the fill port and 1.8 / 57.6 ounces is the best option actually? 😂🎉
