Ford Focus RS Tribute - PURE 5 Cylinder Engine Sound!

Recently I did a videoshoot of a friends 2010 Ford Focus RS Mk2. This video is a tribute to the beautiful car, my personal favourite hot hatch, especially in green with black alloys! Produced between 2009-2010 the Mk2 Focus RS featured a 2.5 Litre 5 Cylinder Turbocharged Volvo Engine, also used in the Mk2 Ford Focus ST. This will forever be the best sounding Focus Ford will ever produce since emission regulations are becoming stricter and tighter than ever before, this car is sort of a last hoorah from the RS devision at ford. This car has 340HP thanks to a remap and decatted Piper Exhaust System. Plenty of pops, bangs and 5 cylinder noise!
The 2009/2010 Ford Focus RS hits 0-60MPH (0-100KM/H) in just 5.7 seconds and will carry on going until it reaches a top speed of 163MPH!

Maybe you don't know why sound so perfect. It's a 5 cylinder engine Focus and i think is 2.500 cc and that's why sound so perfect, especially in high rpms sound much much better from the low rpms. If you hear all the other 4 cylinder Focus sound very simple like all the 4 cylinder cars of the world, except Honda Type R models and Subaru that sound very nice compare to all the other 4 cylinder cars.

It was from the era when Ford owned Volvo. Ford used the engine from the Volvo T5 cars which at the time where 2.5L 5 cylinder Turbo.

I have almost 3 years old Panasonic HC V100 EP-K, it's really good camera for that price, but, you know, I want to buy something better ;-) The new camera must have better stabilization, and, importantly, external mic connector for the best sound quality! I will buy it maybe at the start of 2017, or at the end of 2016... I am looking for camera, which will cost about 15 000 Kč (=400-500 pounds) and I really like PJ620! Do you now some better camera for that price? Can you please tell me car spotters, who also use PJ620? I want to check the quality ;-) Thank you

+CossieGT3 For a 3 year old camcorder the quality is really impressive! :) looks as good as most £400+ cameras. I'd definitely recommend the PJ620 to you, the video stabilisation is brilliant and the camera focuses well, I had the Sony HDR CX160 previously and it had poor focusing problems whereas the PJ620 always focuses well, it's not bad for recording in the dark either :) I think NM2255 uses a Sony Camcorder from the PJ series and well, his videos speak for themself, they're awesome! :) a lot of people always recommend them, hope this helps bro :)

Charlie Upson lol not at all dude. Their gas engines are completely volvo and aluminum block without a balancing shaft. The D5 diesel is based on a boat motor from volvos Penta engine line up. Now I believe one of the lower diesel 5 cylinders was from VW but the others are volvo from the ground up.
