I tested one, the torque from just above idle is incredible, what an amazing little engine for daily duties. Great tech in this engine too, I like that it has port and direct injection, no more dirty valves!

Mir geht es genau andersrum. Das Interieur ist etwas bieder geworden, als Vignale könnte der neue ein Dienstwagen von James Bond sein. :)

Germany is lucky us in America we have to wait till the 2020 Ford escape goes down in price because that's pretty much the replacement cuz SUVs cost more than cars or unless someone turns in one that they have put a little bit of mileage that has dropped the price

Ich muss den Vignale auf jeden Fall Mal fahren. Habe selber einen 150 PS Ecoboost mit Automatik als ST-Line. Will wissen wie viel leider der Vignale ist. Gruß aus dem Landkreis Stade.

update on this: i apparently had a dodgy stage 1 remap; the tuning firm dailed back the torque and now the gearbox problem is gone

Ich habe noch den Vorgänger als 1.0 mit 125 PS als Handschalter. Das symphonische Konzert der drei Zylinder beim Hochdrehen steht einem 6-Zylinder in nichts nach, bei halbem Verbrauch und vollem Vergnügen. Allerdings finde ich Automatikgetriebe langweilig und hoffe, dass ich nie zum Umstieg gezwungen werde. Ein Vignale Turnier mit 182 PS Dreizylinder wird mein nächster. An die 6 Zylinder-Fahrer, die keine 300 PS brauchen und an der Tankstelle Grund zum Meckern haben: Ihr könnt hier getrost zugreifen! Der Antrieb wird seit 9 Jahren in den Ford Modellen verbaut und wurde ständig weiterentwickelt. Neben variablem Turbo ist eine Resonanzaufladung, ein Schaltsaugrohr und eine vollvariable Ventilsteuerung nebst Zylinderabschaltung verbaut. Ein Tausch oder eine Revision bei Motorschaden aufgrund hoher Laufleistung oder schlechter Fahrweise lohnt sich bei diesem Motor immer.

Petro Valentin my advice is avoid the EcoBoost from Ford, just check how many problems that engine has...my choice would be Mazda 3 2.0 skyactiv 165ps great engine with efficient fuel economy and Mazda in general makes one of the best engines out there now

@@badreselmane6088 that engine has not many problems. VW TSI is full of problems. I asked several car mechanics and other professionals about this engine. Every single one said the ecoboost engines are really good. There are always this haters.

Tried both and bought a focus, Mazda was nice good material and build, back was cramped and dark, boot was not great either. Focus is spacious inside and more relaxing to drive, very quiet too.

C'est sur, mais après si ça marche bien, pourquoi pas. De toute façon, on va vers la réduction de tout, cylindre et aussi cylindrée. Pas aussi mélodieux qu'un bon gros moteur.

I adore how stable and quiet this car is. My only "phobia" is the 3cylinder engine. That's why i have as alternative choice Renault Megane 1.3 tce which is 4cylinder engine. But Renault doesn't have independent suspension. I think also Focus is more spacious. also i think they have similar interior building quality. So here is where i need your help. Pol: type "1" for Mégane grand tour 1.3 tce or "2" Focus SW Titanium.

@@andylie7699 nope, Ford played a marketing trick advertising rear independent suspension and they ditched them in silent in May 2019 for torsion beam for the 1.5 petrol engines. Please dont spread wrong information.

Ganz ordentlicher Motor, wenn man sich den Sprung vom Duratec 1.8 oder 2.0 zum EcoBoost anschaut. Er ist genau so schnell wie der Duratec. Vielleicht hält er auch so lange...

Matteo Weber ich würde sgen, ja. Ich bin den Diesel mit Automatik zur Probe gefahren und ich finde das Getriebe schaltet gut. Habe mir auch den 1.5l 182ps Benziner bestellt danach. Wer aber sportlich fahren will sollte doch den Handschalter nehmen.

Ich gehe mal davon aus das es sich um die 150PS Version handelt,trotzdem finde ich die V max und das erreichen dieser sehr Verhalten.Das Auto finde ich optisch allerdings sehr gelungen.

Naja, der Fahrer schaltet - oder besser gesagt - lässt auch sehr früh hochschalten, so dass nicht die 150 PS voll ausgeschöpft werden. Wenn man schnell unterwegs seien will, sollte man in den manuellen Modus wechseln und den 5. und 6. Gang mehr ziehen. Der 7. und 8. Gang ist nur Overdrive zum Spritsparen. Hier fährt der Fahrer sehr auf Effizienz. Sieht man schön an den Schaltpunkten. Kaum Vollgas. bei 5.000 U/min geht es meist schon in den nächst höhreren Gang. D.h. es wurde in dem Video eine maximale Motorleistung von 140 PS abgerufen. Mehr nicht. Wenn man den 150 PS Ecoboost auf Drehzahl und am Gas hängen lässt, geht der schon besser. Das war aber wohl eher nicht das Ziel im Videos wie man sieht.

Wirkt hier irgendwie träge, obwohl der Motor sonst durchaus Spaß macht. Nur das 3 Zylinder Gegrummel untenrum nervt, da gibts viele Konkurrenten die im Stadtverkehr bei wenig Last kaum zu hören sind.

@the Game, Review and Reallife Channel und deine Behauptung, dass die 3-Zylinder nicht so lange halten wie 4 Zylinder bezieht sich auf welche Daten und Fakten? Der Ford 3-Zylinder Ecoboost ist nicht umsonst ein mehrfach ausgezeichneter Motor des Jahres. Er absolviert Dauertests von 100.000km absolut fehlerfrei und zieht in der Mängelliste sogar mit dem Spitzenreiter Toyota Auris gleich (und Toyota ist bekannt für seine extrem langlebigen Motoren). Das kann man überall im Netz nachlesen, z.B. bei Auto, Motor und Sport..... aber einfach mal irgend nen Blödsinn nachplappern, den man in KZbin-Kommentaren mal aufgeschnappt hat, ist natürlich einfacher. Wahrscheinlich bist noch nicht mal selbst nen 3-Zylinder gefahren.

@the Game, Review and Reallife Channel wenns ein zylinder weniger gibt, sinkt auch die Wahrscheinlichkeit das bei einem zylinder kaputt geht... Weil es eben 1 zylinder weniger gibt der kaputt gehen kann....

@@CatHarington Wenns einen Zylinder weniger gibt ist die Belastung auf die restlichen Zylinder und somit auf dem gesamten Motor höher. Je höher die Belastung, desto geringer die Lebensdauer. Ist eigentlich sehr logisch

ich fahre einen focus ST mk2..alles original...meiner schafft laut tacho auf gerader strecke und etwas anlauf 260 laut tachso....bei 2,5L hubraum plus turbo und 225PS laut werksangabe....diese 1,5L ecoboost kacke is echt zum davon laufen...mein vater fährt nen focus mk3 mit 1,5L ecoboost und 150PS als kombi...das is sowas von langweilig...macht keinen bock

@@Andrzej-uf2kg should be like 240nm 1.5 ecoboost and 300 nm for 1.5 ecoblue but those 30wp will make a significant difference. Even so i prefer the diesel for the fuel efficiency.

Maybe there is less torque...but you have 150 hp...the power of this engine is superior. At 120 km/h the engine is only 2000 rpm. Not bad of a petrol engine. I have got the focus 1.6 tdci 115 hp that is the mother of the 1.5 tdci 120 cv and at that speed the engine works4 at about 2000 rpm too. So i think the consumption too must be fine, non only the performance

Beeindruckt mich nicht. Ich fahre mit meinen Fiesta Vignale 1.0 140 PS mehr als 220 km/h. Leider endet mein Tacho bei 220 km/h. Okay ich fahre nur mit Aral Ultimate.

Du darfst aber auch nicht vergessen das der Focus 1525 KG wiegt und der Fiesta deutlich weniger. Ultimate oder V-Power ergänzt verbessert die Leistung und den gesamten Motorlauf. Sehe ich auch so. Fahre meinen Astra auch nur mit V-Power

solange ich hier keinen Videobeweis mit GPS sehe, tue ich das mal als absoluten Unfug ab. vermutlich noch mit den 14" raedern drauf die 10% mehr anzeigen am Tacho 🤣 (sagt einer mit nem Focus ST mk3)

@@SheepFromDaHell okay 9L für'n 1.5er ist schlimm xD kann leider nur meinen Senf dazugeben was den 1.0 ecoboost angeht. 100ps 170nm.. kann mich natürlich auch irren da die 170 nm bereits sehr weit unten Anliegen.. bin ich mit meinem 325i garnicht gewohnt😂

@@zombeloffical naja sauger und turbo sind eben 2 welten vom drehzahlverlauf. Nur wie gesagt sind die Motoren eben angesichts der Leistung und der relativen Kraft ganz schöne fresser. Und von Kinderkrankheiten die auch in der aktuellen generation bestehen wollen wir gar nicht erst anfangen :) Die einzigen ecoboost motoren die in der leistungsklasse verhältnismäßig taugen sind die über 2.0 hubraum. Aber da hätten wir eben das thema hubraum wieder :) Ich meine, ich weiß nicht wie sich die aktuelle 3zyl generation verhält. Aber der 1.5 4zylinder war eben schon nen spritvernichter für die schwache leistung. Tu dir einfach mal den gefallen und fahr nen audi a1 mit 1.0tfsi und vergleich mal das gefühl des fahrzeugs. Ich bin kein VAG fan und befürworte ford doch schon sehr, aber die tfsi sind eben die (aktuell) besseren benziner.
