Ford GT90 QUAD TURBO V12 Found Hidden in Rural Town! (PRICELESS "Barn Find")

On this episode while adventuring in Oklahoma with Jrod's Garage, we stumbled upon the rural town of ames, oklahoma (population 193) and found one of the most rare ford cars of all time! Hidden away in this town is the 1 of 1 Ford GT90 concept car originally produced for $3,000,000 in 1995, producing over 750hp that made it the worlds most powerful production car during that time period. The GT90 was the predecessor to the now wildly popular Ford GT platform. When we asked the owner about an approximate value of the GT90 he said it's PRICELESS, but he was offered $8million for it, which he turned down. Safe to say this was one of the coolest random car finds we've had in a long time. Huge thank you to Hajek motorsports for having us, hope you enjoy this episode!

Am I the only one who feels dissonant from such shots? You must approach this car, a work of art, shaven, in a classic suit with gloves on your hands. We have lost the aesthetics of Western civilization
@JosephWallace-xo8sg
@JosephWallace-xo8sg Ай бұрын
@intestinumvitae9749 nope. They work on cars for a living, they know what their doing letting someone touch then or sit in them. Far different than someone in a museum that's reading from a script about a vehicle to some onlookers who have dirty hands and don't know how to respect what they touch. To not let others who know their shit get a feel for a vehicle is dumb. There's a car show every year where I live, people bring classic (and new) cars, park them outside the hotels in the area and let people come and inspect them, some let people get in. They dive them down a few select streets and show off for the bystanders. "Syracuse nationals", the actual show is at the fairgrounds but the people who own the cars give a free show around the hotels they stay at. Even the cops let stuff slide when it's going on, until some young dumb idiot trys showing off 8n a new mustang his parents bought him and crashed into a pole. They loosened restrictions sense the. Sure most cars and not million $ vehicles at the syracuse nationals but damn are they cool.

It's honestly kinda odd. There's a few 'old dudes' on youtube that have pretty small channels that are pretty legendary in the hotrod community. It's funny how some get noticed and do well, but others don't... also many of this generation would just say, "What's youtube?"

My Ford holy grail would've been the Triton V10 "New Edge" Mustang. Sadly, it had to be crushed. Ford used it as a test mule for the engine.

@@StaredownGames I remember seeing stuff about that test car in muscle mustangs and fast Ford's magazine back in the early 00's.

@9:07... I grew up in Orange, Texas and remember seeing some of the decommissioned Wickersham Ford Drag Mustangs behind the dealership. I went to school in the early 80's with one of the Wickersham boys. Really cool seeing this in your video.

Awesome video! The Ford GT90 is one of the greatest 90’s engineering project cars. Looks like it’s in great hands with this Ford collection :)

That's the beauty of cars. One man (or woman) sharing their passion with someone else and the joy it brings both sides.

I remember playing with a GT90 on Need For Speed 2 on the Playstation when I was a kid. What a cool looking car, and what cool ole boy who gets to keep it safe. I hope theyre both around for a long time to come.

I remember when the GT90 came out in 1995. I was a junior in HS at the time. I'm sure i still have the magazines that featured it. I STILL say that Ford should make the GT90 for the masses. Such a cool car that doesn't show it's age. I'd love to drive my Mustang out there and see that GT90.

A blast from the past 😎 i was brought back to my college years 0:02 when Ford was in cohoots with aston martin, jaguar, mazda and volvo. I had this article in motor trend magazine and car & driver😎 we had the undercover focus RS wearing a volvo hatchback skin, the gt40 made a small came back. The turbo probe/mx6 was a undercover sports compact, the taurus SHO was a yamaha 4dr sports car, svt focus was a cobra killer. What amazed me was people slept on so many of these cars and now slowly starting to recognize the potential they have. I owned a 02 svt focus with some bolt-on parts that surpised most cars at stop lights and dusted many in the backroads.
