Did it on my xc60 2012 Volvo Powershift at home with the recommended 20 sec and the rest Cost me 70$ For filter and oil and although car has only 60kmiles and serviced by volvo I think it was never done GEARBOX shift a lot beter and I have peace of mind

How can we do this for a volvo s40 powershif. Are u based in UK?

You don´t need too. Just change the oil and filter and do a recalibration on the clutch pack and shift forks.

Hi so after getting the gearbox service from ford i noticed when i checked under the transmission when i removed the cover theres leaking could this be down to them over filling not fully letting the extra oil pour out

No ford mechanic would recommend replacing a 6dct450 gearbox due to slippage and rough gear changes at 66000km. The oil change interval is well overdue ...

Prime Technology How is that? Everything from intervals to procedures are clear and easy to find. Proper education and courses are mandatory.

​@@felldinsome workshops only know how to charge for the work, but don't bother to actually do it. I recently bought a Mondeo with 100,000 km, and a transmission that was starting to experience clutch surging. (Slipping and grabbing due to fluctuating oil pressure.) The transmission oil should have been replaced at 60,000 km, but clearly it had not been. The oil was filthy and full of sludge.This car had full service records. I pulled out the valve body, cleaned up solenoids and valves, replaced oil and filter and it now drives perfectly.

@@alanjm1234 I'm sorry to hear that. I don't know where you all live with all these frauds, but sometimes it feels like everywhere outside our borders are a huge gypsy camp.
