I as you bought the dedicated wrench but later found it was easier with a pivoting 27mm eyelet ratchet wrench. It doesn't cost that much more and you don't have to take the wrench off repeatedly. Cheers for your tutoriel...

Ciao Keeplt! per rimontare correttamente il filtro aria, devi fare attenzione al dentino stampato sul perimetro del filtro, deve corrispondere alla sede ricavata nel filterbox in basso, diversamente passa la polvere. Comunque bravo! See you!

Pity you started out saying it was the service of a 2ltr Ford Focus 2014.... Actually, I've got a 2010 2Ltr Kuga Mk 1, it looks the same engine layout, so thanks for the demo.

Hi can I ask what year is the Kuga your working on please, the garage I bought my 2015 Kuga titanium x sport said they had changed the oil for the sale but when I checked the oil it looked dark and the the brown you would expect with an oil change. So I think I will do this job myself
@keepitpinned_yt4 жыл бұрын
Hi. Its 2014. If your kuga is a desiel it's perfectly normal that the oil looks dirty shortly after it's been changed. The fact that you describe it a brown rather than black I would say is a good sign it has been changed. Hope that's somewhat reassuring.

KeepItPinned Hi thanks for getting back in touch ... it was a black colour not a brown that I would expect from a fresh change , how long would it have taken to turn black ? I am concerned to whether the change was carried out and I’m putting my trust in the car sales place

@@kevwilliams1 with a diesel honestly, not very long..its probablycquick hard to say otherwise if the oil has been changed?. To be honest it's why I service my vehies myself. It's simple and I know its definately done. Sorry it doesnt really help you mich .

Hi, I watched the guys change my oil from start to finish you have to run the engine for 10 to 15 mins for it all to settle in and when we checked the dipstick, cleared it and checked it again it was black I was surprised but that's how it goes.

And the oil filter on this Kuga 14 is in a different place on the 15 it's much easier to get to. I want to try it myself next time.

I have a 2016 2.0 Diesel Titanium Kuga, and the oil filter which is the screw in type, is located under the car as usual. The sump bung can be removed by hand and is plastic.

well done left handed, but good video mate. The brake pad ones good too bye the way.

You should rename Kuga service one handed 😃. Get a tripod next time bud so we see it all. Good job tho. Not many UK Kuga vids knocking about. 👍🏻
@keepitpinned_yt6 жыл бұрын
:-) . definitely would have been easier with a tripod!. Considered a go-pro style head mount, but would have moved around too much.

Thanks for a great video. What I find seriously annoying is how Ford make it so bloody difficult to get to and remove an oil filter, conniving swines!!

Hi there, sorry to ask, but do know where I could purchase one of those oil filter tools
@keepitpinned_yt6 жыл бұрын
TIm Hox sure, good old eBay! Search for the following 1/5 BERGEN Oil Filter Housing Removal Tool Wrench 1/2 27mm Ford Peugeot Citroen 3084
Heres one. www.ebay.co.uk/itm/274251504182 Another alternative someone suggested was a ratchet spanner(might even find it easier with this) : www.ebay.co.uk/itm/391718690778
