Hi I’m from Hyderabad I got call form Ford company that need to change DPF ( catalytic converter which cost 1.3 lakh for free 😊) Today 21/05/2024 given my Ford aspire 1.5 titanium diesel ⛽️ to Ford service.

I request all if you have already changed catholic converter in 1 st recall ,plz dont go on 2nd recall you will loose your car’s performance.I am facing many problems in 2nd recall.mileage dropped by1.5,engine noise and pickup n torque is decreased

Ford service centre called us to change the catalytic converter Of ecosport titanium BS-VI before 2 weeks, its cost around 85K, but they replaced it for free of cost due to BS-VI norms.

Even after getting it replaced twice on 1st and 2nd recall. Still got dpf issue again in my Ecosport 2020 both of the times only after few kms. Jerk issues are there and lag on 1st and 2nd gear too. Not to mention got an average drop by 2kmpl after 2nd recall. Now getting 13kmpl on tdci with all those issues which was never expected.

Yeah you’re right there’s a mileage drop and jerk issue, I’m talking to ford for the same, keep raising the concern so that ford India should help with it👍🏻

Drill a hole in dpf using help of local mechanic. All problems solved

My ecosport was performing batter after 1st recall,now in 2nd recall its performance get down, mileage dropped by 1.5,pickup in 4 th n 5th gear is also decreased,enine noice increased about 30 %.I was happy after 1st recall now disappointed after 2nd recall

ford service is good but most of the authorised service centers services are not good. technicians need to take proper training from ford
