The best, I just said one question What is the open port on the back of the unit where the rest have vacuum lines? It's the port that's in the very middle on the top.

I bought a new(used) climate control because mine didn’t light up anymore. Once I replaced it, it worked. But just a few days ago that it stopped working, it doesn’t light up anymore, so I’m just curious what could it be?

What does is mean when no matter the temperature outside it always starts at 40 degrees outside temp when I turn the car on? Then the temperature climbs 1 degree at a time until it gets to about 98 degrees (it’s winter where I am). All functions are working but I can’t use the automatic feature. I changed the ambient air temp sensor and that didn’t fix it. I have a 2000 Grand Marquis. Is my EATC shot?

My original one i believe had the vacuum issue, i'll have to see, but I bought some junkyard units I'm running into a completely different issue, When i plug them in it goes one of 2 ways, either they don't turn on and they shut off my entire dash (radio, gauge cluster, clock), or it burns a hole into on of the chips on the board. I can't find any issue regarding wiring or shorts. i'm losing it!

Mine is turning the a/c off and switching to the defroster. and the heat won't turn on, I can't hear the blend door actuate or anything

my blower motor is not turning on. bench tested the motor it works. testing plug at motor i have 12 volts with key on engine off even though the eatc unit is off. open ground at the plug. the eatc test only shows 024 is the issue with the eatc unit?

Yes, the EATC is the power supply and signal via ground for the blower motor. In your description is would be assumed the EATC is faulty.

I bought an eatc setup to put in my obs Ford. It’s from a grand marquis 2005. I can’t figure out why the screen doesn’t turn on. I’m 16 and not good at wiring any help would be amazing😊
