Ford Maverick 2 Year Review

I bought a 2024 Maverick Lariat about a month ago, and it has already proved itself immensely useful for everyday tasks and DIY projects. I'm sure I'll find some shortcomings in the future, but for right now it's the perfect vehicle for all of my needs. I couldn't recommend this truck enough.

Those dog barks in the video made me think they were in my house! AKRO makes a nice cubby hole phone holder with charging port to fix the 1 person charger issue

Mine is a 2022z I love this little truck. But I’m concerned about the engine failing before it’s time. I heard bad things about it. 😬

The Ecoboost, and especially the hybrid, are pretty rock solid powertrains that have been around for a long time. Love our '22 hybrid.

Frequent maintenance. Make sure you’re on top of it and you’ll have a happy engine. Remember, oil is cheaper than a new engine. I do my oil changes every 5k miles with full synthetic oil.

Awesome real world review ! can I ask how what ages are the kids who ride in the back !? As for your issue with the phones fighting to take over android auto , You may have to disable android auto on the other phones that want to plug in to charge ( settings -- apps -- android auto choose disable ) Apple may have something similar but not sure! :)

@@jedfdk ONLY IF YOU GOT EXTENDED WARRANTY REGULAR WARRANTY IS 60,000 MILES AND HYBRID VERSION GIVES YOU 100K MILES ON HYBRID COMPONENTS 60K MILES ON EVERYTHING ELSE TRANSMISSION IS DIFFERENT ON HYBRID SO IF YOU GOT HYBRID YOU PROBABLY BETTER LUCK WITH THE MAVERICK

I work at a Ford dealership and one mechanic told me it would be better to get the gasoline instead of the hybrid. Lately the hybrid been getting alot of recalls.
